Chapter 17. School.

POV Isabella Di'Giotanno.

Eric drove to school in his truck. The journey from the house is half an hour. I was grateful not to drive, since I was able to sleep during that small time. We get out of the truck, and I see how he intertwines his hand with mine, loving the sparks that contact with his skin produces. We start walking and I feel like thousands of pairs of eyes are looking at me.

Unsure, I ask, “Eric, is it me or do I feel like everyone is watching us?”

He looks around as he answers, “You're not imagining it, babe. But it's you they look at. Remember that today you are totally the opposite to how you were yesterday. They don't know that it's you. But I know that you are the same lovely darling of mine.”

I replied, “How come you always end up making me smile or making me blush?”

“It's a gift!” He says it with a shrug.

I frown as I reply, “I feel very uncomfortable Eric. I hate being the center of attention.”

“And yet you have a convergent wolf.” I laugh at what he tells
