While they were struggling to find a way out of the labyrinth they fell into, everyone else continued their path above, focusing on themselves and their path knowing others would be fine on their own.

“Do you think they will be okay, Randall?” Daphne asked, glancing up from her book, setting her glasses.

“Yeah. They’ll be okay. Don’t worry.” He smiled reassuringly so she wouldn't be vexed about them.

“Really?” She asked innocently, worried about Ruth. She was awkward with Zen already and after losing Felix, who would comfort her.

“Is Ruth going to be alright?” She asked again, concerned about her mental state.

“Yeah. Have faith in Zen. He won't hurt her.” Randall whispered, knowing his friend won’t let Ruth become more miserable than she already is.

“I hope…” She trailed off, lowering her gaze to pay attention to the book.

“You don’t show much but do care a lot, don’t you?” He smirked a little, teasing her which made her blush. Her breath hitched, holding her book firmly.
