CHAPTER 43 – Your Mother is a Mistress
“What?” he asked in disbelief.
How could a bulky six-foot-three grown up man go missing?
He’s not a cat.
“We’re supposed to have lunch today but I didn’t hear from him. I already checked; he wasn’t with his mum”
“It’s not his character to miss out without informing” Mrs. Stevenson was worried.
“Don’t worry mum, I’ll ask around” Aaron said then ended the call.
“Celine, where’s Daniel?” he tried to ask casually but Celine could tell something was amiss.
First, Aaron doesn’t go straight to the topic.
He likes to set the mood first before asking for something.
“I don’t know. What happened?”
“Daniel is missing. When did you last saw him?” Aaron is trying to establish the timeline.
“Last night” then she remembered the phone call he received.
Does it mean he didn’t sleep in their house last night?
Oh my.
Her husband is missing for almost 24 hours now and she didn’t have any idea.
