Carmen stayed hidden for a week, but one day Nicholas tried to sneak into the King's bedroom as soon as his brother had left with to attend his business. Nicholas had a spare King which he had made without the King's knowledge a long time ago. Carmen heard the turning of the key. She assumed it was the King, therefore she continued to lay on the bed while reading a book.

She was startled when another man entered. He resembled the King, but he was much shorter and leaner in body size.

Nicholas was just as surprised.

"Who are you?" He asked.

The King had forgotten something, he went back to the bedroom and saw door wide open. He never worried. He ran inside and found Nicholas standing there in the centre of the bedroom looking at Carmen.

"Have you lost something in my bedroom" the King asked, quite irritated by his brother.

"No not really, I thought I heard something. Excuse me." Said Nicholas.

"Are you alright, did he touch you or do anything you did not like?"
