LOGINDamon’s povI sat back at my office after training the hockey team. I had a meeting to attend soon, but I needed to compile the result of the players for today. The door swung open and Larry came in. “Alpha..” he bowed his head before sliding on the seat opposite me.I’ve been trying to tighten the security in the pack and also follow up the rogue case. I wouldn’t let it slide so easily knowing how accessible they were to the royal palace and to my daughter and the other victims. They most likely didn’t take Camille because they aren’t aware she’s my daughter. Most people don’t know about Camille, and I choose to keep it that way, but I know it can’t be like that forever since she’s a royal member and that was why I had to take her to the party. To take a step forward I’ve issued a new code of emergency specially for rogues. We could be on alert better. I wouldn’t be needing Lara’s statement anymore. “Lucas seems to be having a hard time with his election.” Larry tells me. I have
Solara’s pov The field seems more lively today. I could tell the coach is back in charge seeing how active the players are. He looks so sexy and radiant, the rate at which his presence makes me watery is unhealthy. It’s those damn rogue's fault— my body still tingles from the stimulant they made me take, and I still feel embarrassed for throwing myself at him. He’s rejected me a number of times, what was I expecting.I walked through the entrance of the hockey arena with Freya. We were coming from the football field after doing physicals for them. “Coach, we are here.” Freya said when we got closer. He was backing us and probably didn't see us making our way in. “Oh Freya..” He turned to the sound of her voice. He spared me a look as well. “He’s right over there.” He added looking in the direction where the injured player we hurried down here for was. “C’mon Lara.” We had him checked, but he didn't seem to be suffering from any external injuries but he seemed weak. “Can you expl
Solara’s pov “Hi mom.” She grinned from ear to ear. “Oh honey it’s so good to see you, when did you come back.” Luna Elena opened we hands to hug her and she leaned in to receive her hug. “I came back yesterday.” She said with a smile, then her gaze fell on me. An irritation flashed over her eyes. They seem pretty close. “Meet Lara.. She’s Camille’s tutor.” She introduced me to a lady I have once happened to meet and not in such a good time. “Oh.. a tutor?” A smile spread across her face like she was glad and the irritation she glared at me with suddenly turned to a mystery. “I’ve met her once with Damon.” Gina’s lips curved up for a smirk. “Oh really.. we were just having lunch, do you care to join us?” Luna Elena asks her. She isn’t aware of the situation here. I don’t think it’s such a good idea. Damon used me to reject this lady. She most likely doesn’t want to see my face. “Sure.. if Lara doesn’t mind.” She forced a smile at me. Both their gaze fell in me. “Please joi
Solara’s pov “What is going on here?” The lady's hand hung in the air. She could see who was behind us already. Her eyes opened widely like she was looking at a ghost. The store attendant Celine and I turned to the direction of the voice, and we both gasped at the sight and bowed our heads. “Luna Elena.”“It’s just a misunderstanding..” The lady from earlier forced a smile. It’s a misunderstanding but definitely not the way she said it. “Weren’t you going to hit someone.” Damon’s mother asked her. Her eyes fixed on her. She probably saw it all. Just then we had a man in his mid thirties join us. “Luna Elena” He bowed his head in an instant. “Is there any problem?” He asked politely. “Your customer was rude to my guest and was going to hit her.” She pointed out. She is more flexible than I thought. What does she mean by her guest?“I’m sorry.. I’m going to handle it right away.” He bowed his head at her. “I don’t need an apology but my guest does.” Her gaze fell on me and her
Solara’s pov “How much could these be?” I said under my breath as I looked at the jewelry through the huge transparent glass box. Everything here looks so pricey, but I needed to get something regardless. Today is my parent’s anniversary and I wouldn’t let it pass without making them feel special for having each other. We might be poor, but they deserve to be celebrated no matter how little. I wasn’t sure what to get them and I didn’t plan on coming here but after lectures, I remember the last time I went shopping with Mira we passed this store and there was a beautiful jewelry piece that caught my attention, but on getting here I can’t find it on display. Maybe I should go somewhere else. I actually came for that particular jewelry. There were several other department stores along the street all luxurious— everything in the mooncrest pack is— I just needed to find something within a good price range. I walked down the street and my gaze fell on this clothing and jewelry store.
Solara’s pov “Mira come on we are going to be late..” I threw my bag on my shoulder and walked out of the room hoping she could hurry up a little more. She came in really tired last night and she’s been doing most of the cleaning and cooking for the past few days. She wouldn’t let me do anything since I got back from the healing center— but today I made us breakfast instead. We need all the energy we can get to write professor Sara’s test— she’s no joke. She set one of the simplest questions in the hardest way— you could think for minutes and for some people hours before figuring out the answer. “I’m here Sol.. let’s go.” She said through her breath. I trust her driving skills so I already knew for sure there’s no way we were going to be late, but if I didn’t pressure her, she would make us leave at the last minute and then make me also throw up after driving us with so much speed. We managed to get to the lecture hall on time. I sat next to Mira and as we tried to settle in, my
