Chapter 88: Crocodile Tears

**Bryan’s POV**

Her tears were gone now, burned away by something darker. What remained in her eyes was hate.

Pure, unfiltered hate that curled her lips and lit her gaze with venom. Hate that reached deeper than jealousy, deeper than fear. It lived in her bones, in the marrow, twisting every breath she took. She hated Christiana not just for existing, but for existing as the one thing Bella could never replace, the one thing she could never counterfeit.

Her fists clenched tight enough that her knuckles whitened, her chest heaving with every broken inhale. “Why does it always have to be her?” she spat, her voice dropping to a hiss. “Why her, Bryan? Why not me?”

The room seemed to shrink around us, the air thick with her fury, the grief I carried pressed beneath its weight. I stood frozen, caught between mourning my mother and the dawning horror of what Bella truly was.

Her eyes locked on mine then, glittering, unblinking, brimming with rage and desperat

Chapter 222: The Wedding**Christiana’s POV**Pascal had always been the kind of man who carried charm like a second skin, smooth in his words, confident in his touch. But for once, when he came to me that evening before his departure, his aura was stripped of arrogance. He looked… tired.“I saw you both,” he confessed, standing just a few feet away, his eyes heavy but steady on mine.I frowned. “Saw us?”His jaw tightened. “That night. The red room. BDSM”Heat rushed to my face, a wave of memory crashing over me. My lips parted, but no words came. He let out a small, humorless laugh, running a hand through his hair.“I thought I had a chance. Foolish, wasn’t it? To think I could just swoop back into your life after so many years, after disappearing, and win you over.” His voice cracked, softer now. “But when I saw you with him… I knew. You were never mine to claim.”I shifted uncomfortably. “Pascal…”He raised a hand. “Don’t pity me. Please. I don’t want your pity. I just… I needed t

Chapter 221: Twenty Years Sentence**Third Person POV**The courthouse was crowded that morning. Reporters filled the steps outside, cameras flashing like lightning strikes as they fought to capture the face of the woman who had once fooled them all.Inside, the air was thick with whispers bouncing across the gallery, lawyers shuffling papers, police officers stationed at every corner. And in the middle of it all sat Bella Adams, her hands cuffed, her chin lifted high in defiance. She wore a plain suit that the state had given her, but she carried herself as if she still wore designer silk. Her eyes flickered across the room, lingering on Bryan and Christiana where they sat side by side in the front row. Bryan’s arm was around Christiana’s shoulders, his thumb rubbing slow circles as though grounding her.Christiana’s wounds were bandaged now, but the memory of Bella’s knife still haunted her skin. The judge entered, robes sweeping, and the bailiff called for silence.“Case number 14-

  • Craving The Enemy's Husband   Chapter 220: It is over

Chapter 220: It is over**Christiana’s POV**The moment the sirens blared outside, my knees nearly gave out beneath me. Relief and terror collided in my chest, choking me as I clutched my bleeding arm.I had been clever and desperate enough, to do the only thing I could when Bella first revealed herself. While pretending to steady my trembling fingers on my phone, I had managed to dial 911.Whispering bits of words into the silence whenever Bella’s attention strayed. A “help.” A “Salazar mansion.” My voice low enough not to draw her suspicion, high enough for the dispatcher to piece together what was happening.I hadn’t known if they would find me in time. But now, hearing the heavy boots, the urgent shouts of officers outside, it felt like my lifeline had finally arrived.Bella’s eyes flicked wildly between me and the door, her face pale but twisted with fury. She looked like a cornered predator. Her blouse was soaked in blood where I had cut her. My own arm burned, blood dripping do

  • Craving The Enemy's Husband   Chapter 219: Bitchy Bella

Chapter 219: Bitchy Bella**Bella’s POV**The mansion was as quiet as a tomb when I slipped inside. Last time I was here was when I was still in a relationship with Giveon Salazar.Christiana wasn’t doing a good job taking care of the place, it looked tired. Well, maybe because she was the only one living in it. What a waste.I had watched how Bryan drove her in and they exchanged their disgusting love talks out there before Bryan drove away. That sick Bryan! When would he ever stop loving this bitch?Every step I took through the corridors sent memories crashing into me. How many times had I walked through halls just like this, in power, in control, untouchable? And now? Now I was reduced to shadows, breaking into homes like a thief, like a hunted dog.But I wasn’t a thief. I was taking back what was mine.Christiana had always been in my way. She had always been the thorn in my flesh, the name Bryan whispered in dreams, the ghost I could never quite exorcise. And now she had the aud

Chapter 218: Curtains Fall**Christiana’s POV**The night air was cooler than usual, brushing softly against my skin as Bryan walked me up the stone steps of the Salazar mansion. His hand was warm around mine, his thumb tracing idle circles against my palm like he was memorizing the shape of me.We had just finished rounds of sex like we had it for dinner at that BDSM room. I was so fucking tired!“You’ll be safe here,” he said quietly, his voice threaded with a kind of assurance that didn’t quite mask the reluctance in his eyes.I squeezed his hand. “I’ll only feel safe if you’re here with me.”His lips curved into that smile that unraveled me, the one that made me forget the rest of the world. “I will be. But first, I need to check on the Adams mansion. There are things I need to see for myself.”“Bryan…” I said softly, tugging at his sleeve. “Don’t go tonight. Stay. Please.”He tilted my chin upward with a gentle finger, his eyes locking on mine. “If I don’t go, I’ll never stop won

  • Craving The Enemy's Husband   Chapter 217: BDSM room

Chapter 217: BDSM room**Bryan’s POV**I had spent the entire week keeping this secret from Christiana, which was not an easy task. She had a way of looking at me with that searching eyes, like she could peel the truth out of me if she just stared long enough.I had managed to keep my mouth shut from spilling the surprise that awaits her. Finally tonight, I would see the look on her face when she discovered what I had prepared. Her trust in me mattered more than anything now. She had said no to rushing into marriage again, and I respected that, but that didn’t mean I couldn’t remind her of what we had before Bella twisted everything. I wanted her to feel safe with me again. Wanted her to know that even through the lost memories, I remembered what mattered most…us.“Close your eyes,” I said when we reached the hotel lobby. She gave me a suspicious look. “Bryan…”“No arguments.” I grinned, pulling a folded silk scarf from my pocket. “Humor me for once.”Her lips curved into a reluctant
