Loki caught her husband cheating on the day of their fifth marriage anniversary. To make matters worse, he was unremorseful and had cheated on her with someone who seemed like a perfect version of herself. He then retrieves an already prepared divorce documents and tossed it to her with a huge alimony, disregarding her love and devotion to him for five years of their union. After being forced to sign the papers, Loki was kicked out by security upon his instructions, tagged as an imposter claiming to be his wife. Enraged by the insane depth of her husband's betrayal, Loki vowed to make him regret his existence. By a series of incidents, she rose to power and became the most powerful, feared, respected and indomitable woman the world ever knew, causing havoc to all who dared harm her, her son or even the mysterious man she later crossed paths with. Lucy smirked from a window upstairs as she watched Loki walked away from the manor with her luggage behind her.Just then, a black expensive looking car pulled up at the driveway of the manor, right in front of Loki. It was a little over 8pm in the evening when a black sedan car pulled up at the entrance gate of an exquisite estate in Georgetown. A door opened at the side and Loki weakly stepped out from the car. Staring at the grey-haired older man seated at the owner's side, she hesitated briefly before she walked away. "Ms. Donovan, please wait." The young man who had approached her earlier, said as he went after her, a pair of comfy slippers in his hand. Loki paused and turned to him. She was taken aback when he reached her side and gently lowered the slippers close to her legs. "Please put this on," he said gently. She stared at his gorgeous face before averting her gaze to the man seated in the car. He was looking back at her with an unreadable expression on his face. "Thank you for your concern, but I'm sorry I must decline." She coldly said. "But your feet..." "You don't have to pay me any concern, Mr. Greyson." Loki interrupted, returning her gaze to him.
