6. Just Friend

Angel washed hers sore elbow and bled a little blood in the faucet that is available in this park. She did it with the aim of removing germs and dust that stuck there.

In fact, the young mother was eager to take herself to the hospital as gratitude. But she refused the good intention. Small wounds like this she can handle herself. She was also a doctor, and she knew what to do.

Angel sat back down on the park bench. She blew softly on the part of hers hand that felt the pain.

Suddenly, a familiar shoe stopped right in front of her.

Angel looked up, she could see a tall and handsome man looking at her with a thin frown on his forehead. Him eyes dropped to the wound that Angel had gotten.

"Again?" He asked. Him thin lips parted slightly.

"This is normal," replied the woman. She tilted hers head slightly. "Did you just come home?" Angel asked the man.

"Yes. The lecturer who entered this time was very beautiful, I was really lulled by her," said the man with a happy face. He then took a seat next to Angel.

Angel rolled hers eyes lazily.

"Is this the reason you don't want to graduate right away?" The woman sneered. Who immediately got a loud shake from the man.

"Of course not! I continued studying because it was fun, a beautiful lecturer was a bonus." He replied, chuckling softly. He opened the bag he was carrying and took something from inside.

While Angel only raised one eyebrow upward.

"I really don't understand what's on your mind ..."

"You just don't understand what's on my mind," replied the man curtly. It turned out that he took a small bottle.

And what the man did next was get up from his seat. Crouched down in front of Angel and began to treat the woman's wounds.

"Do you always carry antiseptic with you wherever you go?" wonder the woman.

The man snorted softly.

"Are you hurt all the time?" He replied curtly.

And Angel just shrugged hers shoulders.

"There's a reason why I could get hurt."

"There's a reason why I have to carry an antiseptic around."

Angel felt anxious here. She did not understand why the man in front of her always said the same things to her.

"Done," said the man as he rose from his position. "Take this, you need it more than I do," said the man as he handed the small bottle that was in his hand to Angel.

The woman looked at him in disbelief.

"Are you kidding? I have some antiseptic supplies at home." She sighed softly. "Rather than that, thanks for treating me, Kevin."

The man sighed softly.

"How many times have I told you? My name is Calvine, not Kevin." The man looks to protest.

And Angel just chuckled softly at that.

"I'm more comfortable calling you Kevin, it's easier and less complicated."

The man looks annoyed for a moment. But without being noticed by Angel, he pulled the corners of his lips into a faint smile.

"Okay, Kevin."

In fact, the man didn't mind whatever calls Angel gave him. Instead, he felt special when he was called differently by the woman he had loved for a long time. It's just that until now he still can't reveal what's in his heart. Seeing that Angel was more comfortable with this friendship, he hesitated to say it.

He was afraid that later Angel would walk away from him after he confessed his feelings. He just wanted to stay near Angel and see her laughter all the time.

"Let's go home," said Kevin as he stood up from his place.

"You don't have to bother to escort me inside. Go home, your mother must have been waiting for you," said Angel when she arrived in front of hers mansion.

However, it seems that Kevin is still steadfast in his stance. The man insisted on going inside.

"Who said I wanted to take you? I just wanted to say hi to uncle." Kevin replied. The man then walked ahead of Angel to enter the woman's house.

Let the Angel behind him stare at him with disbelief.

"Is he out of his mind?" Angel sneered as she gently massaged hers own nose. She then walked in following Kevin.

Angel could not help but feel embarrassed when she heard Kevin's voice filling hers house. The man called out to hers father in an unspeakably small voice.

"Can you lower your voice?" said Angel, staring at the man in disgust.

Kevin almost answered Angel, but he stopped his mind when he saw Louis coming.

"Calvine ... it's been a while since you came here," said Louis as he approached the man.

Kevin chuckled softly. "I'm busy studying." He replied. Him gaze was unintentionally fixed on a man who was now sitting on a chair in the living room quietly.

"Uncle ... who is he?" asked Kevin curiously.

Likewise with Angel. The woman followed Kevin's gaze. She couldn't help but raise one eyebrow upward.

Louis laughed softly.

"Oh, introduce ... he is Lester, Angel's future husband."
