CHAPTER 11

Emily

"Here mother, drink some water." Helene said, offering me some water.

I shook my head signifying that I want none. She clicked her tongue and sighed.

"It was you who taught me to never deny my body of water isn't it? And that water helps replenish the body, you'd need more water to replace the tears you've shed so you'd have enough to shed more tears." She teased.

I smiled sadly, she was trying to make me feel better and those truly were my words. Few moments ago I thought she would leave with her Father and I had felt betrayed and a holy anger stirred inside of me because of her actions but turned out she was just fooling around.

"You didn't think I was going to really leave you did you?" She joked lightly, reading my thoughts.

"Yes I did." I confessed, my voice shaky.

She shook her head slightly and dropped the goblet of water back to the golden tray it was placed on before. She gently wiped the tears that remained on my face with her thumb and smiled warmly at me.
