Vianne's POV

(Morning—7am)

The following morning, I woke and prepared for school as usual, but something in me protested.

I don't feel like stepping out of the house at all. I just want to sit by the window side and stare at the sky, hoping Levi would show up again.

I knew this wouldn't work, and for it to work, I need a very solid reason to give Mom to buy me that kind of opportunity. Since I'd no reason at all, I lifted my ass up from the bed and sluggishly strolled out of my room, my backpack barely hanging around my neck like a toddler who had lost his strawberry ice cream.

I usually take a cab to the bus station, before boarding a bus directly to school, but today was different, I didn't even know when I walked to the bus station, I didn't take a cab as usual.
