Carolina was still asleep when she felt someone shaking her awake. It was Geremia.

"Hey, good morning sleeping beauty" he whispered.

"that's so corny" she told him as she laughed.

"I am leaving, I made you breakfast. It's in the microwave, just heat it when you are ready to eat, okay?"

"Okay. Thanks a lot Geremia" she replied.

"You are welcome Lina." he told her and then he kissed her forehead.

He stood up and left while Carolina settled back to sleep, a smile on her face.

Geremia drove back, he was happy and much more relaxed.

He got to the mansion and discovered that Dante was waiting for him in his office.

"Hey" Geremia said tentatively wondering if he was in trouble.

"Where are you coming from? Your men said you weren't here last night" Dante asked suspiciously.

"I uh went somewhere else" Geremia replied hoping Dante wouldn't press him further.

Dante looked at him speculatively and then he burst into laughter.

Camilla asked."he must have gone home" Valerie said absent mindedly."Geremia wouldn't go home without telling us" Camilla insisted."But where could he be then?" Ryder asked."isn't that his car?" Dracaryx asked pointing at Geremia's car."Maybe he is sleeping inside" Valerie suggested.They made their way to the car and Geremia wasn't in the car."where could he be?" Camilla wondered."Let's go inside and look for him" Ryder suggested. They made their way back to the house to look for Geremia.
