CHAPTER 6

“I never experienced being in love and being loved by someone?” That word got stuck in my mind.

I glance around and realized I was left in here alone. I just go to my room and lay in my bed. A few minutes later, I’m still awake. I can’t sleep.

“This is your fault!!” That’s Sara’s voice.

I stood up and walk towards the door.

“What? I just told the truth to Uncle Rommel. You already know that keeping a secret in our family is a big sin, Sara. And last, you know that every rule has a punishment if you broke them.” She’s talking with Edwin, I think they’re just near in front of my room’s door because I can hear them.

“You know what, you’re just mad at me for telling your Mom about you and your ex-girlfriend before! You’ve broken this rule too before, like me!”

I think I shouldn’t be listening to what they’re talking about. This is not right.

“Are you done talking? I’m sleepy already so, good night. Have a good sleep with your minor wound.” Edwin calmly said.
