THIRTY - EIGHT
Starr’s day was going fine, it had only started but it was already going fine. She had a bright smile on her face when she walked into the firm. Everyone could tell things were going fine for Miss. Hart. She used to always come around with a frown and strong face, but things had switched up and changed. She had a different type of glow and a wide smile on. She forgave little misbehaviours, letting them off as warnings. She still stood for disciple, but was more lenient with it also quite understanding and forgiving.
“Good morning ma,” Amber had greeted her when she walked in, following right behind her as she walked to her office.

It had been long the whole family had seen Starr, and it had been long Starr had seen the whole family. She was pumped. She had left work early enough, so she could go get dressed. She also packed clothes, so she could sleepover and leave from there to her workplace the next day. She had called Christopher and told him about her plans to have meal with her family. Nothing had really changed around the house. It still had its African touch to it. It still had their dad’s effect here and there, his pictures still up. Starr smiled, her heart warming up. It was like his presence was still present, watching over them. Starr felt way better the next day. She hadn’t left early in the morning. But rather took her time. She didn’t really have anything doing. She took her time getting ready for her day. Solace had upped and left early the next morning, leaving only herself, her mother and Sorcha in the house. “Good morning,” she had greeted her mother when she had gotten out of the bedroom in the morning.Her mother was munching at a banana as well as tapping at her phone, when she had walked in on her in the kitchen and dining room. “Morning dearie,” her mother had replied her, switching off her phone to pay her attention as she asked, “How was your night?”Sorcha nodded as she sat opposite her, pulling a banana away from its bunch as she peeled and took a bite. “Good,” she replied with a smile. “Haven’t felt so home and comfortable in a long time. Feels like I shouldn’t return to my house anymore.”

Starr got in and settled in, relaxing on her chair as she pulled out her iPad and began to go through her emails. She didn’t care.Emma was beginning to feel awkward outside, while Amber was enjoying it all. Before, she was on a thin line between indifferent and hate about Starr, but all she felt was love for her at that point in time. Christopher had been trying to put his imagination to works at his home office, when Valentine’s call came in. Starr was close to sending Magnus and Valentine back to where they were comiing from. She didnt know why her house was suddenly getting crowded at night. “What are you doing here?” she had asked with a frown.“What? In less than fifteen minutes, the pizza arrived and soon after the Chinese. “Let’s get it!” Magnus shouted as he ran into the house. “Let’s do this guys!”Sorcha laughed as she dropped the wine Starr had given her. “Let us get this,” she repeated excitedly, causing Magnus and everyone to laugh or smile.“I do not get the excitement,” Starr had said as she sat on the ground with the rest of them. Almost everyone was knocked out by the next morning, while Starr was up and ready for work. She had been dressed in a black leather skirt, a sky blue chiffon shirt tucked into it.
