THIRTY-ONE

“Thank you so much,” Starr had said to Sorcha after their meal, appreciating her.

Sorcha smiled warmly as she replied, “Believe me when I say it is an honor. I get the chance to eat and hang with you, that is an honor.”

Sorcha was probably just talking, but it was deeper than that to Starr. Yes, she knew personal mental health was good and sensible. But, cutting off from everyone in her life didn’t seem like such a good idea anymore. But then, it was the therapy she needed. She shook her head a bit, to get over the thought. She still felt it was one of the best decisions she made. “I am your sister, it shouldn’t be an honor, but a normality,” Starr replied Sorcha with a smile as she lifted her hands, hoping to get the attention of the woman who had been attending to them.

She arrived almost immediately. “What do you need dear?”

“The bill please,” Starr had replied.

The woman had nodded, before she picked their plates and left. Starr and Sorcha
