Chapter 11 Acquiescence

Lucas unbuttoned his shirt. He cannot see any end on what he’s doing. The number of clients he accepts remain the same, but the amount of his work from scanning the applications and going through each background just to make sure that the their wish will be of personal use for their sinful desires took a heavy toll on him.

He rested his back on the chair and closed his eyes, he cannot believe that his Father made him do such awful job but refuses to give him four arms and omnipotence.
