VACATION WENT WRONG

  "So Linda,all you are trying to say is that all your stay in London, you didn't get any white boyfriend".

Ella said smiling cheeky at Linda because she knew she has hit her weak point.

     "That side is nonsense,on offense,I wonder what Serena sees in that place. It's just that if you live there you will die single".

We burst out laughing at her comment

       " It's not funny ooh, if you see the way people were just minding there business eeh,It was as if,I was an unwanted fly even after all the make up I did and seducing clothes I wore yet no fair boy looked my way".

I kept on laughing, seriously, this is priceless. I wonder how she stayed that long over there . Linda stood up and showed us the walking step she used over there just to get a boy to ask her out and the step itself was hell. To crown it all, today's school is the best and I pray other days would be like this.

Two weeks went by fast and currently am in the administration office about to pay half of my fees. I watched as she placed the money in a money counter.

      " You've been told to pay your fees directly to bank, I don't understand why you keep bringing cash to school" .

   She said as she typed God knows what in her system, I rolled my eyes. Just at that moment,the door is roughly pushed open and in came a tall dark boy with a low hair cut.

       " Excuse me, am sorry for interrupting but the sectary asked me to give you this".

He handed a brown envelope to the woman,she took it and give him a little smile.

                           "Thank you".

The boy briefly glanced at me before he left the office as if he never came in . That boy that just left is my school senior prefect or head boy. Kelvin Iheomachukwu. The teachers and staffs of this great school loves him infact they cherish him. Leaving the fact that he's rich,he is also intelligent and has won many awards for this school. He is not only academically bright,he is also physically fit. He is the captain of the school football and basketball team and he also the president of my favorite club,press club. Isn't he just perfect and the best part is that his father is one the founders of this school. How good is that?.

      I admired and always had a crush on him for like forever. It's just a pity ,he never notices me. I mean,how could he ? When he is this popular and am just me.

       " Here's your taller , you can leave and please ask the next person to come in as you step out".

She said and handed me my taller while I thanked her before leaving.walking through the hallway with my eyes on the taller I had in hand which is the the evidence of my fees payment for my WEAC , graduation and second term fees. I still haven't paid for my NECO and third term school fees but I appreciate that my father is doing his best.

                           "Ouch"

I fell hard on my butt. I accidentally bumped into someone or something.

               "Are you blind or something? Can't you watch where you going to ".

The idiot shouted at me without even apologizing for bumping into me. I immediately stood up.

      " You are mad, infact you are sick in the brain. Can't you say sorry? You are the one that bumped into me".

I fumed, I hated it when people acted rude and arrogant. It's an everyday thing in this school with these spoilt rich kids , but I wasn't gonna take shit from anyone today. And the worst part is that the idiot turned out to be a science student and my classmate at that. His Golden Smith, the Academic prefect .

        "Any more words from you and I will slap you".

He probably doesn't know me but even at that he doesn't have any right to treat people like this.

        " I dare you to try that "

I challenged, I wasn't going to make him think am some weak ,naive junior girl he could just step on.

                            "Golden "!

We turned to the direction of the voice only to see Kelvin running towards us.

      "Dude, I told you to go get something and you are here asking a girl out".

He said as stopped in front of us while pacing from the run.

  "Asking which girl out? This thing here, is not even my type. Am going to teach her a lesson today so next time she won't disrespect her senior " .

      "Who are you calling a thing? You self proclaimed Academic prefect ".

I fired back at him at that moment Kelvin bented down and picked up a piece of paper and that's when I remembered that I dropped my taller .

      " You are that girl I saw in the admin office right "?

Does he expect me to answer that. I stretched out my hands towards him asking for my taller instead.

           "So you are the almighty Serena Williams I've being hearing about "

He said and smiled while Golden immediately snatched the paper from him.

         "You mean this rude girl is........"

 Golden didn't finish his words as Kelvin nudged him to keep quiet. Okay, what's going on here? Cause am kinda confused.

       "Can I have my taller now".

I said as I interrupted there whispering.

       "Sorry about earlier I didn't know you were my classmate".

Golden said as he scratched his hair while laughing awkwardly. I just rolled my eyes at him.

         " How will you know, idiot, I wonder how you pass your exams when you are this dump" .

    

         "The teachers don't look at my brain the look at my face".

He said and laughed, he thinks this a joke.

     

      " It's obvious that the are enchanted by your ugly".

I said and shoved him aside and left. Kelvin haven't said anything since then. His just here staring at me as if am an appetizer and it's becoming annoying and uncomfortable .
