Chapter 9: Bring your dad to school day.

Natasha's house boomed lousily with noise, the twins had just woken up and were getting ready for school.

They were bickering at themselves over a small issue, Natasha smiled to herself as she watched them argue.

Though they argued every second, the bond and love the twins shared was more than enough to know that they cared for each other greatly.

Natasha converted her mind back to the dish she was serving, she placed them on the table.

"Eat now," She said to them as she turned to leave, but Nikky grabbed her by the hand gently.

"What about you, mother?" He asked tenderly, looking at her innocently.

She ruffled his hair cutely, and she coaxed his head tenderly, "I wish I could, but I have work to do, eat now," 

She gazed at Niccy who now had her full concern on the food, she was exactly like her father, always calm but evil.

And she worried for one thing, she didn't want her daughter to turn out like her father, she loved her daughter so much.

She patted their head and went to sit beside her laptop for a while, scrolling through some unseen messages.

She noticed a spam email and opened the folder, her eyes widened as she saw the confirmation email.

Oh my? Does this mean I am hired? but he never stated anything?

"Ahh," She screamed in joy, reading the email over and over again.

"Mummy, what's wrong?" Nikky rushed towards her, his tiny hands grabbing her hand.

He tried to peek into the laptop but all he could see was just some boring old letters.

"I just got accepted for a job." She hugged her son tenderly, gazing at the laptop again.

She made a halt immediately as she stared blankly for a minute. Wait a minute, does this mean I get to work with Alec?

Her heart pounded loudly as she thought of such a crucial thing, she tried to assure herself, but memories of that night made her belly churn loudly.

She didn't want to believe that fact, it made her sick, no, no, but still she accumulated her income, she needed the job really badly.

But for the sake of her kids, for their welfare, she was going to take the job, her eyes seemed to widen the more when she checked the day of resumption.

It was today, the day of resumption was today, she needed to be at work right now.

In a swift, she stood up and led her son, Nikky to the dining table. "Eat now"

She also sat down with him and chugged the food down her system quickly, not minding her kids expression, they had their brows raised in a manner.

They both stared at her not being able to utter any word, they tried worrying about their food but the way their mother ate hurriedly made them almost burst into laughter, but they restrained themselves.

When she noticed her kids stare, she dropped the fork back on the plate, and wiped her face with the napkin.

"Laugh at me all you want," She stared at them.

They couldn't take it anymore so they bursted into laughter, they clutched their stomach as they laughed.

She stood up from the chair and cleared the dishes, "Get ready for school, we leave in ten minutes,"

They went to get ready for school in a flash, she nodded her head as she watched them leave for the bathroom.

She washed the dishes, thinking about her present situation, she needed to call Sky, she needed his advice.

A sigh emitted her lips as she did the dishes, when she was done, she placed them in a neatly arranged manner.

When her kids were done, they were already dressed in the school uniform, she looked at them, why were they so cute?

She pinched their cheeks before grabbing their school bags, "Let's go now," The trio all excited the house.

The school was well known for its elegance, and the culture and morals it displayed.

She kissed her daughter and son before turning around to leave.

"I will be off now, be good." She then turned over to Nikky, "Oh and you, you must apologize to Emily, even though she did something wrong, you were supposed to say sorry."

He had a squeezed expression plastered on his face, he just nodded his head with a smile,  "I will apologize to her."

'Who is going to apologize to her? that proud piece of junk? definitely not me!' He thought to himself.

She wanted to lead them in their classroom, but when she saw the principal, she made a halt.

"Good morning sir," She greeted him enthusiastically.

He nodded his head, "Please follow me to my office, Miss. Cindy," He said to her.

"O-okay" She turned to her kids, "be good, hurry up and go to your class." She watched as they ran to their class with a smile.

She trailed behind the stoic looking principal with a sigh, when they reached the office, he sat down on the chair assigned to him.

He pointed to a seat gesturing for her to sit down and she did just that, she stared at him waiting for whatever the man was going to say.

"We got a call from one of the parents yesterday that your son was found insulting their daughter?" The principal, "Are you aware of the deadly mistakes your son is pulling you into?"

She restrained herself from rolling her eyes, so Alexis would go as far as reporting the authorities? What a waste of time.

"I am sorry, I was quite aware of what my son did and I am so sorry, I promise he wouldn't do it again," She tried smiling and calling a truce.

The principal sighed heavily. "I hope you keep to your words Miss. Cindy, you can go now," He pointed to the door.

She stood up and wanted to take her leave, but was stopped by the principal voice.

"Bring your dad to school day is fast approaching, the students are expected to bring their father to school," He said, "The students will be informed today."

She sighed heavily but all she could do was to force a smile at the principal, she couldn't tell him that she divorced their father, right?

"Alright, thank you," She opened the door and left hurriedly.
