Chapter 2: Night 1/ Part 1

Faith's Pov:

I look around the house sighing in relief "Finally!" I said flopping on the lounge

My cell starts ringing thinking it was my best friend Georga but it was my mother's name popping up I clench my jaw staring at it shaking my head a little knowing I couldn't keep ignoring her. I pick up the phone answering it

"Mum if it's about the marriage drop it," I said with annoyance

"Where are you?" She asks

I swallow "Far away from you and Father" I replied

"Where are you, young lady!" She exclaimed

"As I said far away you both did this to me and split our family apart, I didn't want to marry Cain but you tried to push my hand Mother" I replied

She sighed "Are you safe?" She asks worry in her voice, I swallow the tone in her voice making me sigh.

"I'm safe mum you have nothing to worry about..." I said.

"Can you at least tell me where you are I won't tell your father you know I've kept a lot from him" She replied in a whisper

"I'm in Forestville," I said

The line goes quiet her breathing being the only sound I hear I sat up a bit finding her silence highly unusual "Mum you've gone quiet are you okay?" I asked

"F-fine, I love you be safe" She replied

"Love you too I will I'll call you tomorrow," I said hanging up not worrying

Her mother, on the other hand, was petrified her arms wrapping around her as if in a safe bubble

"Honey-" Her husband comes in looking at her watching the shivering form of his wife he walks over looking at her she looks as if she could break into tiny pieces of glass, this was a first for him.

"Honey what's wrong your shaking like a leaf..." He asks

She gulps looking up "Faith...she's in Forestville where those vile creatures lurk," She said

His eyes widened in disbelief "She was here two days ago she can't be!" He exclaimed

She looked up "I just got off the phone with her she's there apparently it's because we forced her hand," She said

He sits beside her thinking "We need to contact Cain and his father right now" He replied

She looked up frowning, "You just want her married off Alaric!" She yelled standing up and throwing her hands up in frustration she had enough of backing him up on all his decisions and causing a strain on her relationship with Faith this had to end now.

"I want her safe and protected!" He replied anger in his tone

She walked towards him standing over him her fists clenched beside her body shaking in absolute fury

"Safe and protected? You really are thick, aren't you? She was never safe not in his care and not in yours you have traumatized her and I had to sit back and watch and fucking cry but no more when we find her I want a divorce" she said leaving the room.

While the father sat there in shock she never stood up to him and now she wanted a divorce she'll change her mind he thought well she wasn't kidding because she walked outside to call her lawyer.

After speaking to my mother she sounded off as soon as I mentioned Forestville maybe it's because she had attachment issues with me when I was a child she thought, I sighed am I forgetting something I had a nagging feeling that I was supposed to do something.

I look at the time my eyes widening "Dimitry is coming to pick me up!" I exclaimed out loud getting up nearly falling over running up the stairs

"Oh my god, where are my freaking good clothes!" I exclaimed angrily, throwing my shirts and dresses.

Alessandro's Pov:

I watch the little human throwing her outfits everywhere chuckling at her impatience then looking towards the next-door neighbor's house. He plays around with his tie then paused as if it was on...instinct looking into his mirror and straightening the tie further he looked out the window right at me he grabbed something from the draw a stake he staked it into his desk looking directly into my eyes as if in warning daring me to face him so this human has secrets.

'Now I have all the more reason to kill him' I thought, he smirked tucking it into his jacket pocket, walking out of the house he makes his way to her house he knocks trying to make himself look presentable.

I then see her come out in a red crimson dress my eyes rake over her in hunger, my fangs immediately come out watching her speak and laugh to the hunter.

She loops her arm in his as they walk into town, I grab my leather jacket angrily wanting to make myself known time to introduce myself to my beautiful mate.

I walk with Dimitry "Is this a club?" I questioned

He looked up at the building itself "Yes it is but stay close a lot of people would want to most likely eat you up," He said

Shivers go down my spine as I press myself closer to him in an attempt to feel somewhat safe as we enter. 

It was massive you would think that you would find this type of club in the city, not in a town like this, eyes were on me as if I was fresh meat, We walked until we found a booth people looked up smiles adorning all their faces.

"So let me introduce you to everyone here is my younger sister Ava, My wingman Dean, Jasmine a family friend, Axel who is my big brother and finally Chloe everyone this is Faith" I look at her recognizing her instantly as the girl that handed over the house.

"It's nice to meet you all and see you again Chloe," I said

She smiled at me "Settling in okay?" She asks

"Yea it's a wonderful home" I replied

As I got talking to everyone it was as if they were on their guard at all times then that's when I saw him his eyes scanning the crowd looking for someone until his eyes found exactly what they were looking for...my table and me specifically.
