Chapter 9: First Day On The Job

Faith's Pov:

I awake with a gasp the nightmares plaguing my every dream I haven't had one good dream since I was a mere child, my eyes follow my alarm clock as It sat at three in the morning, I groan in annoyance flopping back down and staring up at the roof feeling on edge.

"When can I start living without fear of him..." I thought saying it out loud

Looking back on all the times I was naive, Cain making excuses saying it was my fault and I started to believe that, that is until Georgia knocked sense into me telling me to run, to hide that me being with him could be the death of me.

I closed my eyes trying to squeeze my eyes shut to at least get a few more hours of sleep until I began work but to no avail, I couldn't will myself to.

I huff in annoyance looking at the clock it being five in the morning now, throwing my covers back knowing If I can't just sleep I'll get ready for work and watch tv.
