Chapter Fourteen

Kane sat in the shadows and watched as Bridgette emerged from her small house and went to her car, checking to make sure that no one was watching her. He frowned wondering what she could have been up to. He watched as she climbed into her car and backed down the driveway. Soon she was off and after getting someone to come over and watch the house he followed behind her at a safe distance. Kane had been watching her for a while now and noticed that she seemed to have two different houses. One in town and the second out in the country. 

After Dex had confirmed that the child’s mother had passed away at the hands of one of Lucifer’s men, they thought it was important to put surveillance on the two.
