Mag-log inStacy POV
After I have fed myself with a bowl of instant ramen, I return to do the remaining exercises. A few minutes onwards, I hand it in to June. As she checks and corrects the mistakes I did, my mom appears and put a box of chocolate cookies and a cup of milk on the table. It seems that she is in a good mood as she impulsively appears with the treats. “Here are the treats, Ms. Bentley. Please help yourself to enjoy,” She says as the smile shows on her beautiful face. “Thank you, Ms. Barfield. I’m sorry for bothering you, anyway,” June utters while delaying her correction activity. The woman in her fifties shakes her head a bit as she stares at me for a second. She then claims, “No, it’s not, Ms. It’s a pleasure to treat you with snacks. In fact, my beloved daughter also loves eating. You can actually notice that she gets puffier.” While stating the fact, my mom cups my cheeks playfully. It is not a big deal for me since I’m not really slim. Even, in the previous days, Sam teases me about my weight. Nevertheless, this time, I feel so embarrassed. I can also feel that my cheeks are blushing, indicating that I’m not confident about my body. Therefore, I complain with irritated tone, “Stop it, Mom! Being puffier is just an accidental stuff for me.” Listening to my tone, my mom widens her eyes. I can sense that she is shocked. Maybe, it’s the first time for me to complain about her teasing my body weight. However, June, with her brightening smile, doesn’t feel bothered. It seems that she is fine although my body becomes as fat as a guinea pig. Rather than adding a comment about my appearance, she chooses to continue her correction towards my work. At the same moment, my mom utters an unexpected invitation to her, “Would you like to have a dinner with us, Ms. Bentley? You can consider it as a mingling time with our family since you date my beloved Sam.” I then stare at my mom with a train of thoughts running in my mind. At the first stage, I assume that mom doesn’t really like the fact that Sam dates June, my private teacher who is just a student of Business Management Faculty in Riverdale University. However, after looking at the recent invitation coming out from her mouth, it seems that she is fine if my brother ends up with June. Another proof that really changes my previous assumption is how she nicely treats June although serving food may sound more like formalities to a guest. “Am I not bothering your family time, Ma’am? I’m afraid if I’ll be too comfy here. Maybe, I may forget to return to my place.” June tries to make sure if she is really welcomed. She is always cautious when it comes to an invitation or other occasions. “Nope. Obviously, not. I invite you for dinner because I’d like to know you better, including figuring out why my beloved son is so head over heels to you.” Mom responds in her joyful tune. Her eyes lit up as she streaks a gentle smile to June. Once I hear the words refer to my brother is so madly in love with her, I really want to speak my heart out. I may say, ‘Dude, I’m also head over heels to June. Even, she makes me fall harder by taking care of me well’. However, it is not a piece of cake for me to do so. It is equal to drop a bombshell—revealing the truth my mom or dad never knows. End of POV -**- In the course of time, the dinner time arrives. There are various type of home-cooking food served on the table. A few of them are cooked by Mrs. Barfield, while the rests are bought and sent by the delivery service of a nearby restaurant. As June joins the Barfield’s, they start chatting casually and enjoy the meals. Firstly, Mrs. Barfield opens by asking, “Well, what are your parents doing, June?” “My dad is just a businessman, but he is not the most successful one, and my mom is just a housewife.” June state directly with her conflicted gazes. It seems that a question about her family hits a nerve since she hasn’t in-contact with them for quite long time. “Oh, a big cheese. What is he working on exactly?” Mr. Barfield throws a question with excited tone since he is also a businessman without any big achievements and reputation. June stares at him nervously. She is not embarrassed with the truth that she is a daughter of a businessman working on property stuffs. Even so, she is not comfortable when she recalls about her rocky relationship with her dad. Therefore, she tells the truth, “He works on property field, the house developer.” “What a stable job! Is it the biggest one?” Mrs. Barfield asks as her face lights up, channeling that she is surprised mixed of amazed by June’s family background. Besides that, she begins to assume if June’s family may be rich and quite prestigious. At that point, Sam notices that her mom may sound a bit nosier, so he warns, “Mom, please don’t interfere her personal life too much. She may be uncomfortable.” While her brother cuts the conversation, Stacy pour cream chowder into a bowl carefully and gives it to June. “Enjoy it while it’s warm,” She says. Then, June smiles while receiving a bowl of the soup. That simple attitude of the blonde girl makes Stacy smitten easily. It is very common to see her crush smiling or yelling, due to the private lesson time. However, Stacy never feels enough of her smiles. She always crave of everything related to June, no matter how often she sees her in weeks or months. It can be said that June has been her obsession on the first time meeting. Feeling a butterfly in her stomach, Stacy carelessly takes a spoonful of hot cream chowder and eats it. “OUCHHH!” She yells as a sharp burning sensation lingers on her tongue. “Are you okay, Stacy?? Wait for a second!” June looks panic while standing from her chair and seeks for the first-aid kit box. TO BE CONTINUED..June POV Now, it's 10.30 on Sunday. I just finish washing the dishes at the sink. With the thought about food ingredients that may need to be restocked, I open the fridge and check its amount meticuluosly. "June? What are you looking for?" Her gentle voice bothers me, but I keep checking the stuffs. Yet, I reply, "I make sure if the ingredients here are enough. Otherwise, we may have to go to the supermarket." "The one we went near here?" She confirms. I can feel her eyes sticks on my back while frowning. "Nope. We go to my dad's mall. Maybe, after we shop a few things in the supermarket. Then, we can have coffee during lunch. I know the best one." I suggest based on the plan in my head. In fact, I wanna introduce the mall when I'm dating Sam to her, but I don't want to reveal who I truly am since it may change Sam's parents mind because gold diggers are very common nowadays. "That would be nice. I always want to see BEST mall with my friends, but the parking ticket is
Stacy POV She giggles after conveying my suggestion. I understand running away from family is not good, especially when they cannot respect our choices. Notwithstanding, it's not about good or bad. When it comes about the love of our life, it deals with happiness. We cannot fight for this life while we don't have the right person we really want. "Let's enjoy what we are now. About marriage or how our parents will react, let the time tell." June clears the conversation with the uttered statement. It certainly lead my thought about her who may not plan to marry me. Again, I purse a dissapointment on my face. "What's wrong, sweetie? Are you okay?" She look worried once I don't look pleased. "It seems you don't want to marry me, through your words." I pout after telling my conclusion. At this time, I realize she grins at me sweetly. It always melts my heart to be frank. "Hmm, thi
Sam POV Honestly, I got the info about Stacy, staying together with my girl, from my mom. Once listening to it, my mind felt uneasy. Therefore, when the day came, I chose to follow them. Starting from the moment they left home and headed to Rivera Apartment. Furthermore, once they put their stuffs in the room, they decided to visit the gym centre. Staring at them from a far, I begin to speculate there were something fishy between my little sister and my girl. My speculation was not based on their conversation, but it was from the way they held each other's hands. I knew I should not be salty about it, but it really bothered my mind once I got down from that floor. Another strange proof I witnessed myself was their gestures in the supermarket. They laughed together. They looked a bit more intimate than just a sibling. Was Stacy serious with her words to steal June from me? If she meant it, she was insane! She must have thought about it multiple times. However, once I get
June POV I once thought dating a girl was wrong. It was not lovely at the first place of the back in mind. Yet, once I do it, I really it my own words. Even, I ever tell Leah I'm going to end up marrying a good guy and have a happy family, like others in the society. Nevertheless, as I date Sam, I feel blank although he is kind. Surprisingly, the table turns when I feel safer when Stacy is around. Every thump of my heart will exist when I see her. When she is not around, I crave to talk to her. "CLICK!" The door opens after I scan my card on its automatic lock. "Finally!" She mutters as we enter the studio-type apartment. I can only tug a beam as my orbs stick at each gesture she makes. She is always cheerful although she isn't fine inside. After we change the clothes, I walk and reach the kitchen first since somr of the ingredients must be washed. By the time I enter the kit
Stacy POV The blonde man with the muscular posture seems to be astonished. Indeed, June never reveals her sexuality to him although she has engaged with my bro. Yet, once she tells me to Andy about who I truly am for her, I feel on the cloud nine. Yeah, maybe, it is exaggerating since she only reveals it to one person, not to public. However, she is truly sweeter than what I ever imagined. While her slim fingers hug mine, the owner of bass-type voice bothers my concentration for another time. "All right. Since this is your request, I'll make it under her name." Andy agrees. His face lits up of joy since the gym he organizes will add another member although it seems to be more people coming for building their dream bodies. June seems to be relieved with the agreement. Hereafter, Andy extends a form and a black pen to June. "Please fill in this form first," He commands gently. With her stares attaching on me, June gives the pen and form. "Fill in carefully based on the req
June POV "What are you waiting for? Just kiss me," I think she will back up when I'm still pondering. Yet, she still stands up with the challenge. Seriously, this thing makes me a fool instantly. At the same time, she starts closing her eyes as her head tilts and leans closer to me. Geez! I need to act fast. "CUP!" I gently plant a kiss on her forehead. "I guess that's enough," I mutter. Her eyes directly open, gazing at me resentfully. "Hmph! What a trick!" She yells. It is possible for me to kiss her lips, but once I do it, it's hard to stop. I'm afraid the lust in my heart grows wilder. I know one day, I'll do it with her, but not right now since it is too fast. I gently push her shoulders and respond, "We still have more time for romanticize our day, kiddo. Didn't you say you wanna join me on working out activity?" "Yes, I did, but can't get more kisses?" She pouts after inquiring. Fo
