Sandra’s POV

“Uhm… I think I should give you guys some space,” I said, quickly grabbing my bag and turning around to leave. My heart was beating fast, and I didn’t want to be caught in some messy drama. No way.

I walked past Liam’s secretary, who gave me a strange look, and made it to the door. I could feel everyone’s eyes on me. I could hear them whispering.

Let them whisper for all I care.

If they think I’m just some desperate ex or a mistress, I really don’t care. All I care about is getting back what’s mine.

Liam.

Once I got outside, I pulled out my phone and dialed. “Can you come pick me up? Ugh… the sun is so hot,” I complained, rolling my eyes. I wasn’t in the mood for anything else to go wrong today.

In just a few minutes, my best friend Blaire pulled up in her sleek black SUV. She always knew how to show up when I needed her.

“Hey boo,” she said with a bright smile, giving me a kiss on both cheeks like always. “So, how did it go?” she asked, raising one of her perfect brows.

  • Dear Ex, I Want Your Brother    Chapter 69

DAISY’S POVFor the first time in my life, I let all my emotions out in the shower. I don’t know if that was a stupid thing to do, but I know it helped. I cried like a baby, and the hot water running down my body made me feel safe, even if it was just for a little while. My chest had felt heavy since last night, like something was sitting right on it. Crying helped me breathe again, even if it didn’t solve anything.By the time I stepped out of the shower, I was glad Liam was nowhere near my room. My head hurt like someone was banging on the inside of my skull. I didn’t need his presence adding more stress. Today is finally Friday, and tomorrow—thank God—Cynthia will be here. I need her. I need someone to talk to, someone I trust. Someone whose shoulder I can cry on without feeling weak or judged. After I got dressed, I picked up my phone and called my driver.“Prepare the Maybach,” I said, trying to sound strong. “I’ll be driving alone today.”I ended the call before he could ask que

  • Dear Ex, I Want Your Brother    Chapter 68

DAISY’S POVIt’s 10:00 p.m., and I’ve been sitting in bed for almost four hours, just staring at the door. Waiting. For Liam.I shouldn’t be doing this. I know I should’ve called him or at least sent a text, but after the conversation we had earlier today at the office… I didn’t think that would be a smart move. He was cold. Different. Almost distant. And it left me wondering if I’m losing him. Or maybe I’m already too late. What is happening to me?Am I being jealous? Or insecure? Or maybe both?I ran my hand through my hair and looked over at my phone again. Still nothing. The silence in the room wasn't helping. My mind kept making up stories, none of them good. I sighed, fighting the weight in my chest. Every minute felt like an hour. Then suddenly—ding. My phone lit up.It was a WhatsApp message from Cynthia. Finally, something to take my mind off Liam. Just seeing her name brought a little warmth to my chest. My lips curved into a tired smile as I opened it.Cyn: Guess what?????

  • Dear Ex, I Want Your Brother    Chapter 67

Daisy’s POVIt’s been a few days since the whole “me pushing Sandra” incident happened. I’ve had some time to think things through. I finally spoke to Liam, and he promised me he wouldn’t behave like that again. He said he was sorry. He said he understood how I felt. So, for now, I’ve decided to stay away from Sandra. I want to focus on my husband. On us. On fixing whatever this thing is that’s slowly pulling us apart.I let it go once. I didn’t raise hell. But let her try me again—I swear, if Sandra comes for me one more time, I will not hold back. The phone on my desk rang loudly, breaking the silence in my office. I reached for it and answered.“Hello, Madam President. She just arrived,” the voice from security said.I didn’t need to ask who “she” was. I already knew. Sandra. Again.I had told security to inform me every time she entered the building. It’s not like I planned to do anything—yet. I just needed to know when the snake was slithering around my husband’s office. How I wi

DAISY’S POVEven I couldn’t believe the words that just came out of my mouth. My lips moved faster than my brain. The room felt warm a minute ago, but now it was like all the air had been sucked out. My chest felt heavy, like I was sinking. Time itself seemed to slow down, as if the world had stopped spinning for just a moment.“I’m sorry… that’s why we didn’t want to tell you,” one of the girls beside me whispered softly. My eyes widened. I had asked too many questions, poked around where I shouldn't have. I let my stupid curiosity take over, and now I was paying the price for it.I lifted my head slowly and looked at each of the girls standing there. Every single one of them looked down, ashamed or maybe just too afraid to meet my eyes. None of them said a word. Their silence louder than anything else.Except Sandra. She didn’t look away. She stood at the other end of the room, that annoying smile still stuck on her face. Her eyes met mine and she turned her gaze away and looked ahe

  • Dear Ex, I Want Your Brother    Chapter 64

Sandra’s POV“He’s going to be so shocked to see me here,” I whispered under my breath, staring at the entrance of an office inside Turner Empire. My fingers gently tapped the side of my bag as I waited, heart pounding softly against my chest. It felt strange being here—so close to him again after all these years. I had no idea what to expect, but I knew one thing for sure: Liam had no clue I was coming.“Would you like some coffee or tea?” a petite woman in a sharp black suit asked. She had a polite smile on her face, and from where I sat—directly across from her desk—I could see the name badge on the door behind her: Liam Musk.Yup, I had done my little investigation while she stepped out for a few minutes.“Never mind. I’m good,” I replied with a small smile, shaking my head politely. As I glanced down at my phone to check the time, I noticed the zipper on my bag had opened slightly. A moment later, my key slipped out and hit the tiled floor with a soft clink. Bending down to pick
