“You’re not going to meet with him, are you?” Priya asked, watching Renee grab her purse and keys.

She had come into the office to speak with Renee after the meeting and try to get started on her new role as manager. But, she was met with Renee in deep thought…she didn’t even hear her come in.

It was only when she called her name again that Renee blinked and finally took notice of her. When she asked, she was told that Daniel wanted a private meeting with Renee.

Knowing how cunning and evil he was, she immediately spoke against it.

“I have to,” Renee said with a sorry look.

“No, Ree.” She ran up to her and grabbed her hand. “We know how that man is. What if he tries to hurt you and steal your company?” Priya asked, worried for Renee’s safety.

“He won’t do that.” Renee chuckled, but Priya didn’t find it funny.

“Besides, what if someone sees you out with him and suspects that you’re back together? What are you going to do then?” She asked. Renee played her right hand on Priya’s ch

Daniel is pulling at straws to see what will work. He wants to get her upset so he can work on her conscience. If she is as strong as I think, nothing he does will break her determination. I hope she is. She could have a bright and healthy future.
