Raven's POV

HALOS ibalibag ko na si Vander dahil sa naging tanong niya pero hindi ko magawa. Maraming tao sa elevator at kung gagawin ko iyon ay sigurado akong marami ang madadamay.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Pagmamaang-maangan ko. I gritted my teeth while saying that. Bakit ba niya inuungkat ang mga ito? Hindi ko alam kung ano ang layunin niya para gawin ito.

Ngumisi naman si Vander sa akin. "You know what I am talking about. You still choose your pride?"

"It's not about pride, Sir. It's choice and fate leads people to where they are right now. If you choose to be miserable, then no one can—"

"Then do you choose your pride?" He cut me off.

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang isasagot ko. Maybe, I did chose pride because I was a coward. But right now, do I still have to choose being a coward again?

"I—I choose...what makes me...happy." Naging sagot ko sa kanya ng mahina pero sapat na iyon para marinig niya. That was cryptic and I don't know how will he gonna take it.

"Good answer."
