"When are you due?" Stacy asked.

"Werewolves develop more quickly than humans," Indianna said, repeating what Doc had told her. "Instead of nine months, its six. So, they should be here in February sometime. Apparently werewolf babies are hard to predict a date, and with twins I'm more likely to be premature."

"Premature?" Stacy questioned.

"Early," Indianna explained.

"How early?" Rogue asked.

Indianna shrugged. "A few weeks, a month? I don't know."

"So, it could be as early as January?"

"Possibly," Indianna said.

"That's not far off, little sister," Rogue said.

Indianna swallowed and rubbed her stomach. "I know."

"Come on, let's go and sit down. You shouldn't be on your feet for so long," Stacy said and soon they were all sitting in the lounge.

Indianna had never felt so uncomfortable in her life.

"So, who are you going to have with you at the birth?" Stacy asked. She sat back on the couch and leaned into Rogue. Indianna watched as he placed his hand on her knee.

"I..." Indianna frowned. "I hadn't thought of that."

"Usually you have your mum, but that's no possible considering she's a loony-"

"Stacy," Rogue said sharply.

Stacy made an 'o' shape with her mouth. "I... oh, should I not have said anything?"

Rogue sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Just... stop talking," he said.

"I'm sorry, babe," Stacy whispered. She linked her fingers with his.

He smiled softly at her. "It's fine."

"What is going on?" Indianna asked. "What did you mean about my mum?"

"Nothing," Rogue said dismissively.

"Jason..." Indianna gulped. "What have you done to her?"

Rogue gave Stacy a look. "I wasn't going to show her this just yet, but it looks like I'm going to have to now."

"I'm sorry," Stacy apologised as Rogue stood.

"I know," Rogue said and kissed Stacy on the cheek before facing Indianna. "Come with me, little sister, it seems I have something to show you."

Indianna frowned and stood up, cautiously following her brother out of the room. Rogue was silent as he led her up the stairs and to Indianna's old room. "Jason, what is going on?"

"I'm only showing you this because you seem to be behaving recently. This is a reward for your good behaviour. If you carry on listening to me then you will be rewarded." Rogue opened the door to Indianna's room and gestured her inside.

Nothing had changed. It was still the half lived in room that Indianna had never finished unpacking properly. However, there was one thing that wasn't quite right.

On the bed, curled up in a ball was... her mother.

"Iris," Rogue called. "You have a visitor."

Iris's looked up and Indianna gasped quietly. Something was wrong. Her mother's eyes were wide, and her lips were forming words, but Indianna struggled to understand what she was saying. She looked rabid.

"What is wrong with her?" Indianna asked slowly, taking a step towards the bed. "Mum?" Indianna said softly. "It's me, Indie."

"As Stacy said, she's a loony," Rogue said. His voice was void from emotion. "She's gone crazy."

Iris looked at Indianna with wide eyes. "Daughter?" She whispered. She looked hurriedly between Indianna and Rogue.

"Yes," Indianna whispered. "What happened to you?"

"He ruins everything," Iris whispered. "He ruined me. He ruined you, and your Greyson. He's ruined this town."

"Now, that's not very nice," Rogue tutted.

"Trust your head," Iris said. Her voice was frantic. "He has help. He can do things, things he shouldn't be able to do!"

"Iris, stop talking nonsense," Rogue said.

"Mum, what do you mean?" Indianna asked.

"He can do things to mates! Your friend Brooke, he is keeping her and her mate apart. He has his ways to sep-"

"Iris, why don't you tell your daughter how you missed her?"

"He's crazy!" Iris cried, she threw her arms up in the air and Indianna stepped back quickly. "Trust your head, Indie! Trust the voices you hear, when all seems lost, believe in the impossible!"

Indianna frowned. "Mum... I-I don't understand-"

Iris lunged forward and grabbed Indianna's wrists, pulling Indianna towards her. She held her lips to Indianna's ear. "Alive!" She whispered. "He's alive!"

"Iris, you're going to hurt her," Rogue said and pried Iris away from Indianna. He shoved Iris back onto the bed. "Sister, you should go back downstairs now."

"I... B-but-"

"Now!" Rogue growled. He raised his eyebrow at Indianna. "I don't repeat myself, sister."

Indianna looked at Iris, who was a muttering mess on the bed. He had pulled her knees to her chest and was rocking back and forth, whispering to herself. She had gone insane.

"Sister-"

"I'm going," Indianna sighed and slowly left the room. Her mind hurt, she didn't know how to deal with seeing her mother like that. Talking all sort of nonsense. Who was her mother even talking about?

Indianna forced a smile. "I would never."Greyson chuckled. "Are you not eating any more, sugar?"Indianna stared down at the food on her plate, feeling full. She had taken a lot more food than she could manage to consume. She shook her head.Greyson turned to his sister. "Has she actually eaten a decent breakfast?""Greyson, I've eaten!" Indianna argued.Kirstie rolled her eyes. "Trust your mate, you dick. She ate enough for a whole family.""Great. In that case." Greyson took Indianna's plate from her and sat down between the two girls, tucking into the remains of Indianna's breakfast."We better get organised," Mac said, running his hand along Kirstie's thigh. "We gotta a lot of men to get today.""No rest for the wicked," Kirstie sighed and jumped up from the floor. "Let's go tear down Rogue's empire, lover."Mac chuckled and let Kirstie pull him up from the floor. "Let's do this.""You know," Oscar said, furrowing his eyebrows as he stood up with Kirstie and Max , "you'd think th

DAY ONEIndianna was woken by Kal's snores, they were soft, but she had been struggling to sleep the whole night and now all she could focus on was Kal's heavy breathing. She sighed and turned over, trying to get comfortable which was rather hard with her bump. She was now looking at Greyson as he slept. He seemed so peaceful. His face was so calm and serene, she wished that he didn't have to wake up to the hell they were in.Greyson's eye twitched and Indianna knew that he was no longer asleep. He reached out, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into his chest, resting his chin on her head and one hand on her stomach. *It's early, sugar, you should be asleep, not perving on me while I sleep.*Indianna chuckled slightly. *Sleep doesn't come easily these days.**Try,* Greyson pleaded. *It's 2am. You need your rest.**So do you.**I'm fine. I'm swapping watch duty with Oscar soon anyway.*The rest of the previous day was spent waiting anxiously for Oscar, Kirstie and Mac to ret

"Please don't call yourself that," Indianna said."It's true. I can't be trusted-""Would a monster feel remorse?" Indianna asked, cutting Tai off. "Do you think Rogue feels remorse over his actions?""That is different-""You are not a monster, Tai," Indianna insisted. "You didn't do what you did on purpose. As you said, you lost control. What happened has happened, it can't be taken back. The only thing we can do now is focus on the present. Tai, will you help us now?"It was a few moments before Tai acknowledged that Indianna had spoken. She pursed her lips and gave one sharp nod. "I need to wash this blood off of me," she said and turned on her heel and disappeared into Indianna's room.Indianna made her way to Greyson's room next. The scent of him surrounded her when she entered and she closed her eyes, caressing her bump. She didn't want to go without him. Indianna swallowed the lump in her throat and changed out of the clothes she had been wearing for dinner. Once she was in sw

"If I'd have known that talking to Brooklyn would change your mind then I would have suggested you do that as soon as you started to disagree with me."Indianna scowled at Greyson who smirked at her as she approached him. "Shut up."Greyson reached out and took Indianna's hand, pulling her towards him. "Thank you," he murmured."I'm still annoyed," Indianna grumbled and looked down at her feet, glaring."Hey." Greyson took Indianna's chin and tilted her head up. "Please don't be. You're keeping yourself and our children safe. That's the most important thing. Don't scowl at me, sugar.""You're important."Greyson smiled and kissed Indianna's forehead affectionately. "God, I love you, woman."Karl suddenly yelled from across the room. "They're here! Fucking hell, you took your time, lads! It's not like we're waiting for a psychopath to come and kill us or anything!""You just can't keep your mouth shut, can you?" Harry groaned, but made his way over to where Kal was now standing, over t

"Just me," Greyson croaked. "You know it's the smart thing to do. There's no point in slaughtering a whole pack.""You think I care about how many people I have control over? Do you think I care about that when my mate is lying dead in my arms!" Rogue roared. He threw Greyson to the side, kicking him onto the floor. "You will all die! I will kill you all for what you have done. None of you will live to see next week." Rogue looked down at Stacey and brushed her hair away from his face, smiling down at her. "Everything I will do to this pack will be for you, my love," he whispered. "I promise, I will make them suffer." He then walked towards the woods, not looking back at the pack. "If any of them try to leave, break their legs! I want them alive, for now!" Was the last thing Rogue said to his men before he disappeared. The rest of his men remained, but they retreated into the trees, out of sight, still there, but watching. The silence that followed next was deafening. No one said a wo

Nothing she could possibly say would help."Your pack killed my mate. SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU. OF YOUR PACK! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE!" His yells echoed in the woods surrounding them. "You..." He whispered. "You are going to pay."Indianna was too stunned to speak. She was vaguely aware of Greyson putting himself between her and Rogue, but that didn't stop Indianna from staring at her brother who looked ferocious. His eyes were dark, teeth bared, face red and he was spitting blood when he spoke. "You, little sister, are going to suffer. Your pathetic mate can't protect you. Your pack. No one. You are no different from our parents. I thought I could change you. Make you into a version of yourself that I could be proud of. Oh, how I was wrong.""J-Jason," Indianna stuttered, her words barely audible. "I didn't want this to happen-""I don't want your fake pity!" He roared and Indianna flinched. "I don't want lies! I want revenge!"*Sugar, you know I will die before I let him get to you.*H
