A List

After taking a long relaxing bath, Ashely decided to take a nap for a while till when the male character shows up. She was starting to close her eyes when she suddenly realized something and sat up.

“What if the male character shows up and finds me asleep? Won't that make me seem not serious about this?” She muttered and ruffled her hair.

“But I love sleeping a lot.” She groaned and lay back on the bed.

“I will just close my eyes for five minutes.” She mumbled and slowly closed her eyes.

HOURS LATER

Ashley groaned in her sleep and slowly opened her eyes, she yawned and sat up. She picked up her phone and her eyes widen in shock as she stared at the time.

“Holy shit! It's 8:00 pm.” She almost yelled and dropped her phone, she hurriedly rushed out of the room and walked down the stairs. She suddenly froze when she saw men in the living room and they were all dressed in black tuxedos.

They all turned to look at her and she bit her lip nervously.

“Good... Good evening.” She greeted and they stared at her.

“Okay, that will be all for today.” A guy said and stood up, Ashley stared at him as everyone bowed slightly at him and walked out. He suddenly turned to her and she felt intimidated immediately by his look, he is handsome, even hot than Bryan.

“He is wonderfully made.” She blurted out.

“No doubt about that.” She heard him say and she snapped out of her thoughts.

“Oh, sorry. My name is Ashley Smith, I am the one hired to play the female role here, I guess you might be the male character right?” Ashley asked.

“Role? Character?” He muttered confused.

“Yes, the role... “

“Oh, right. Bryan hired you right?”

“Yes.”

“How much did he offer you?”

“Three million dollars, monthly.”

“Of course.” He muttered.

“So, when will we start the review? And why are there no cameras here? I am still confused about that.”

“The review? What the fuck did Bryan tell you?” He whispered and Ashley looked at him confused.

“Is something wrong?” Ashley asked.

“No, nothing is wrong.”

“Okay then, I was asking questions about the review process before going into the actual movie in three months, when do we start?” She asked.

“What? What did Bryan say?” He mumbled and Ashley couldn't hear him.

“Sorry, I really can't hear you.”

“Hmm, about the review, we can start tomorrow?”

“Sure!”

“Oh, Bryan told me I can live the life I have always wanted here, honestly, I never really had a friend to do some things with so I was wondering if I could maybe write the list of things I want to do and we can do them together? Please.”

“Is it a long list?”

“Of course not, just a little list.”

“Okay.” He shrugged.

“Oh, what’s your name?” She asked.

“My name?” He asked back.

“Sure, what can I call you?”

“Hayden.” He replied and she smiled.

“Cool, Hayden is a nice name.” She replied and he nodded.

“Excuse me.” He said and walked up the stairs, Ashley shrugged and looked around the living room.

Butler Lucas suddenly walked to her and bowed.

“Ma’am, please come with me, dinner is ready.” Lucas said and Ashley smiled, he led the way and she trailed behind him.

After dinner, Ashley tried to see if she could see Hayden and talk more about the review they are doing but after waiting for him in the living room for a while, she got tired and decided to go to her room.

She climbed the stairs and walked slowly in the hallway, she paused when she got to the painting she was staring at earlier and stared at it.

She kept staring at it and raised her hand to touch the painting when she suddenly heard a voice and she flinched.

“What are you doing?” She heard and turned to see Hayden still dressed in his tuxedo and his hands in his pants pocket.

“Hmm, nothing. I was just heading to my room and I decided to stare at the paintings.”

“Well, you should be careful of what you touch. This house belongs to the film industry, we wouldn't want to ruin it right?”

“Oh, yes of course.” She replied and cleared her throat.

“You are still dressed in your tuxedo.”

“Yeah.”

“Well, I think you should take it off, it's kind of late already.”

“I will.” He replied and head towards the stairs.

“Can we talk more about the review?” She asked and he turned to her.

“No.” He replied rudely and walked down the stairs.

“Rude.” She muttered and rolled her eyes.

She walked into her room and decided to make the list before going to bed, she found a pen and a book on the table and she smiled. She walked to it and picked it up, she sat on her bed happily and started making a list of things she wants to do with a friend.

THE NEXT DAY

Ashley got ready for the day with the help of the maids and they also escorted her down the stairs, they escorted her to the dining and she smiled immediately she saw Hayden.

“Good morning.” She said cheerfully and sat down, he nodded in response and she gave him a look.

“What?” He asked.

“You are supposed to respond with your words, not shake your head.”

“Okay.” He replied and she waited for him to say something but he didn't, she sighed and decided to focus on her meal.

Hayden left the dining before Ashely was done with breakfast so she hurriedly finished her meal, she followed him as he walked to another section of the house.

“What?” He asked and turned to her.

“Are we not supposed to be working on the review?” She asked and he sighed.

“Your name?” He asked.

“Ashley.”

“Great, Ashley, you heard what Bryan told you right? Just live your life and be free, that is what the review is all about, you really don't have to be serious about it.”

“Okay then, can I show you the list of things I want to do?”

“Yes.” He replied and she smiled happily.

“Just a second.” She said and rushed to her room, she picked up the book and rushed back to him.

“Here is the book.” She said and he accepted the book from her.

He stared at the first page and nodded.

“Great, we will do all these.”

“Hold on, they are a lot of pages filled with things I want to do.”

“How many pages are filled?”

“Just ten “

“Just ten?”

“Yes and the first one is to play a video game with me.”

“A video game? I am kind of b... “ He trailed off and sighed.

“Fine, sure.” He sighed and she smiled, she trailed behind him till they got to a room, she looked around it and turned to Hayden.

“So, this is more like a game room right?”

“Obviously.” He scoffed.

“I won't want to play a game with a rude person, it's fine if you don't want to play it. I will go and ask Butler Lucas.” She said and jerked her book from him before walking out.
