Never Forget

Unknown POV

I stand in front of my mirror, becoming consumed by rage. Not a day goes by that these marks don't go unnoticed. That idiotic she-wolf made sure to leave her mark as I made her mate witness her disappearance. Drawing out her claws from her right hand, trying to dismember my arm that held her throat. I thought I had weakened her, but I underestimated her. How I got myself roped into that fight, I will never know. My mother wouldn't explain herself, even after I almost took her life.

A crystal blade shoved into her chest, inches away from her heart and still nothing. Just her cold, emotionless green eyes staring into my soul. I was prepared to do whatever it took. Luckily for her, the guards pulled me off before I could force another blade into her pregnant stomach. I didn't get the answer I was looking for, so now I am left to think back to the events that lead to these imperfections on my ivory skin.

Knock. Knock.

"Who the hell is disturbing me in my quiet time?"
