Leaving Yamiel to clean, I walk down the hall. Dragging my hand over the frames hanging on the walls. Mostly pictures of my mother over the centuries but I stop and stare at the only picture of my father.

I was the spitting image of him. Long straight silver hair, emerald green eyes with gold specs, and smooth ivory skin that appeared to be glowing from afar. He was a kind soul and taught me to love music. They always said I could be found playing some instrument. Many even said I use to act like him as well, till the day he died.
