2.

Aurora.

Thankfully, I managed to overcome yesterday's ordeal without getting on the wrong side of my mother. Now, we were on our way to the camp of the werewolves.

I couldn't understand why my mother, a human, had decided to marry a supernatural man this time.

Imagine my shock when I got to know that the werewolves that were supposed to exist only in fairytale truly exist? I couldn't help but think if demons, witches and wizards, dragons, and every other supposed fairytale beasts were, in fact, not just fairy-tale.

I took my mind off it as I saw Alpha Townsend, the man my mother was marrying, walked into the large hall where the wedding and vow exchange was going to be taking place.

Beside him were three men who looked identical yet different in their eyecolors and body builds.

The first one was very handsome with his thick, silky black hair and deep blue eyes and broad shoulders. His eyes looked very cold as he regarded everyone in the room. Even I shivered from the intensity of the coldness I saw. He also seemed to be the strongest among his brothers.

The second one has thick silky black hair with a strong chin. His eyes were the most unique part of him as he had two different colours. The first eye was deep blue while the second was golden. I knew there was a name for such, but I had forgotten at the moment. He was a little bit shorter than the first guy. He also has this cocky grin to his mouth that made him seem jovial. Except that the hard glint in his eyes said otherwise.

The third brother also has the same silky black hair like his two brothers. His eyes were golden color. He seemed to be the carefree brother if the way he didn't button half of his shirt was any indication. Compared to the build of his two brothers, he seemed skinny just standing between them both.

These were the children of Alpha Townsend? And they were to be my stepbrothers?

I gulped as they all came to where Mother and I were standing. The Alpha held my hand and pulled me into a brief tight hug. I stiffened in his arms a little, hating the close contact with the man. He released me soon and patted my cheek in an affectionate manner.

"Meet my three sons." He said and gestured to them one after the other. "Tristan, Titan, and Tilder." He turned to his sons and said, "Meet Aurora, your soon to be stepsister."

I nodded my head at each of them in acknowledgement.

Tristan looked at me from head to toes. He hissed loudly after that and walked away. Titan, on the other hand, stared at my face for a long while, I touched my face to see if there was something on it.

"So, you are the slut's daughter. Hmm." He let out. That said, he turned around and walked away also.

I steeled myself for what Tilder would say about me. The man surprised me by laughing. I didn't know if his laughter was supposed to make me weary or happy.

"I can't wait to see how you will turn out." He said to me. Then, he followed his two brothers.

As soon as they were all gone, I released the breath I didn't know I was holding. The Alpha patted me on the shoulder softly and I looked at him.

"They'll come around." He said warmly.

I wanted to tell him that it doesn't matter to me, but I clamped my mouth shut when I saw my mother looking at me like it was my fault the boys had all walked out on me.

"Let's get this wedding over with, shall we?" I chanted out, eager to be done with all these troubles as fast as I could.

The wedding vows were said about an hour after that, with the people from Cold Heart Pack acting as witnesses to the union between their Alpha and my mother. A few people came from my mother's side too, but they were not many. I wasn't surprised about that, considering how the woman acted like the devil's incarnate most of the time. I just still couldn't understand how such a sweet and loving man like Alpha Townsend fell for her vile nature.

As soon as the ceremony was done, I began to help the servants, who I learned were referred to as Omegas in the werewolf world, pack up. They tried to stop me but I didn't listen.

If only they knew my life was worse than theirs...

I picked up the dishes that were used to serve the guests and made my way to the kitchen. I was already at the door before I noticed the presence of Titan. My first thought was to walk away from him, but I knew how childish it would seem since I was sure he had already seen me. I decided to just ignore him and go about my business. So, I stepped inside and began to arrange the dishes neatly. He also ignored me like I didn't exist.

I saw from my peripheral as he picked the bottle of water from the fridge and opened it. He gulped some of the water, and I couldn't help but notice how his Adam's apple moved with the motion. Lust grew in me, and I felt the space between my thighs pooled.

I tried to clasp my legs together to stop the feeling, but it only seemed to intensify the pleasure. I tried to remind myself that the man was my brother, but the logic didn't work.

Who knew that watching a man drink water could bring so much calamity to one?

Titan dropped the half filled bottle on the table top and turned to look at me. His two colored eyes blazed pure hatred at me, and I looked down.

"So, you are really a slut like your mother!" He sneered at me.

I looked up, my eyes filled with shock. Had he somehow noticed that I got horny because of him? I couldn't see how that could be since I made sure to act nonchalant around him.

He stepped closer to me and held my jaw with his hand in a not so tender way. "Have you forgotten that I'm a werewolf and that werewolves can sell desires?" He released me from his hold and hissed at me.

In seconds, I was left alone in the kitchen, trying to see how I could disappear from the pack before I ever have to face the man again.

  • Desire That Shouldn’t Exist: irresistible trio    The days that followed

Aurora
I barely slept after that night.Every time my eyes closed I felt his hands again—the slow path of his fingers down my spine, the way he had tilted my chin, the quiet order to stay still. I would jolt awake with my heart slamming against my ribs, sheets twisted around my legs, the taste of blood still faint where I had bitten my cheek. By the time the gray light of morning pushed through the curtains my head throbbed and my eyes felt swollen and gritty.I still got up. Mother never asked how much rest I managed. She only cared that the work got done. The chores were the same as always, only heavier somehow. I scrubbed the kitchen floors until my knees burned through the thin fabric of my dress. I washed dishes in water that started hot and ended cold, the skin on my hands turning red and tight. I carried basket after basket of laundry from the upper floors down to the wash rooms and back again, arms aching by the third trip. The omegas still whispered when they thought I was

  • Desire That Shouldn’t Exist: irresistible trio    Looked out but inside

AuroraI locked the door the second I was inside and leaned my full weight against it, still clutching the nightgown to my chest like it might shield me from what had already happened. My legs gave out. I slid down the wood until I was sitting on the cold floorboards, knees drawn up, the fabric bunched under my chin. The tears came without warning this time. Hard, silent ones that soaked into the thin material before I could stop them. I pressed the nightgown harder against my face so no one walking the corridor would hear. The house had ears everywhere. What have I done?I had agreed. Out loud. I had told him I would do whatever he commanded. And he had already tested that promise, right there in the hallway outside my door, with his hands and his voice and those mismatched eyes that never seemed to blink when they looked at me.My skin still prickled where his fingers had brushed. That was the part I hated most. The way my body had answered him even while my mind screamed to run. I

5.AuroraI tossed and turned about on my bed as the event of the day replayed in my mind.I shivered at the way Titan had flung the man off me like he weighed nothing more than paper. The man had lost consciousness instantly. Titan had held my hand and took me out of the place. I sighed as I remembered how I had shamelessly got aroused for him again just from holding hands.Whether he noticed or not, he didn't say anything to me.When I asked him what he was doing at the hotel, he had just looked at me like I was asking the wrong question, so I kept mute.Mother was in the living room when we returned. When she saw me, she knew that there was no way I would have returned that quickly if the man had succeeded in his motives. However, she didn't say anything. Probably because she saw me with Titan. And of course, I tried to please my saviour for the rest of the day. I took water to him, prepared food for him, and was on standby just in case he needed me. He hasn't said anything to me y

  • Desire That Shouldn’t Exist: irresistible trio    Increased fear

4.AuroraThe place Mother wanted me to follow her to happen to be a hotel at the downside of town. The place was so remote that even if someone was being murdered brutally, no one would know about it.The hair on my body rose, and I felt this urge to turn back and race off."Come on, hurry up now!" Mother yelled at me.I saw that I was a lot behind her and struggled to meet up with her. I didn't know what she planned but I could tell that whatever it was, it couldn't be good.We got to the reception of the hotel. Mother went straight to the receptionist and muttered something to the young lady who seemed to be around the same age as me. Her eyes flickered to me, and I saw something like a pity reflected in them.My fear increased, and I began to step back, ready to bolt. Mother must have gotten whatever kind of information she needed from the lady because she turned back to me. Her eyes pinned me with a hard stare, stopping me in my tracks, and she motioned for me to follow her. I li

  • Desire That Shouldn’t Exist: irresistible trio    Gazes

3.AuroraFor days after that, I did my best to make sure I steered cleared off the paths of the three brothers. For all it was worth, I could tell that they were doing the same with me.As usual, Mother made sure I worked until I almost dropped dead even in the new house. And of course, I made sure I stayed away from everybody, including the servants. It wasn't until long before they began to call me the cold queen even in the pack. That didn't bother me anyway. What was more important to me was staying out of trouble.I swiped over the surface I was cleaning once again. The place sparkled, and I smiled to myself for a job well done. I got up from my crouching position and stretched, only to see the three brothers all staring at me like hawks. I staggered backward a little from how hot the intensity of their gazes were.A small part of me told me that Titan must have told his brothers about our little encounter, and they must be here to see how true it was.My fears compounded when I
