1.Aurora.Thirty minutes later, I was done with taking my bath and ready to start the day. I was currently walking down to the kitchen to fix something for myself to eat. As soon as I got to the kitchen, I winced to myself.Perhaps I was not ready to start the day as I thought that I was.I looked around as I saw many people running helter-skelter in preparation for the wedding that would be taking place the next day.Whose wedding? You might be wondering? It was the wedding of my mother. Oops, sorry, I meant the third wedding I've witnessed the woman going through in all my eighteen years of existence.I couldn't figure out, for the life of me, why the woman never stayed with a man. But I couldn't blame her since she was someone who lived and breathed for the sake of money alone. The rumour from the death of her last husband came to my mind, and I couldn't help but shudder that I was associated with this kind of woman. A woman who was rumoured to have been the one who killed the man

3.AuroraFor days after that, I did my best to make sure I steered cleared off the paths of the three brothers. For all it was worth, I could tell that they were doing the same with me.As usual, Mother made sure I worked until I almost dropped dead even in the new house. And of course, I made sure I stayed away from everybody, including the servants. It wasn't until long before they began to call me the cold queen even in the pack. That didn't bother me anyway. What was more important to me was staying out of trouble.I swiped over the surface I was cleaning once again. The place sparkled, and I smiled to myself for a job well done. I got up from my crouching position and stretched, only to see the three brothers all staring at me like hawks. I staggered backward a little from how hot the intensity of their gazes were.A small part of me told me that Titan must have told his brothers about our little encounter, and they must be here to see how true it was.My fears compounded when I

5.AuroraI tossed and turned about on my bed as the event of the day replayed in my mind.I shivered at the way Titan had flung the man off me like he weighed nothing more than paper. The man had lost consciousness instantly. Titan had held my hand and took me out of the place. I sighed as I remembered how I had shamelessly got aroused for him again just from holding hands.Whether he noticed or not, he didn't say anything to me.When I asked him what he was doing at the hotel, he had just looked at me like I was asking the wrong question, so I kept mute.Mother was in the living room when we returned. When she saw me, she knew that there was no way I would have returned that quickly if the man had succeeded in his motives. However, she didn't say anything. Probably because she saw me with Titan. And of course, I tried to please my saviour for the rest of the day. I took water to him, prepared food for him, and was on standby just in case he needed me. He hasn't said anything to me y

Aurora
I barely slept after that night.Every time my eyes closed I felt his hands again—the slow path of his fingers down my spine, the way he had tilted my chin, the quiet order to stay still. I would jolt awake with my heart slamming against my ribs, sheets twisted around my legs, the taste of blood still faint where I had bitten my cheek. By the time the gray light of morning pushed through the curtains my head throbbed and my eyes felt swollen and gritty.I still got up. Mother never asked how much rest I managed. She only cared that the work got done. The chores were the same as always, only heavier somehow. I scrubbed the kitchen floors until my knees burned through the thin fabric of my dress. I washed dishes in water that started hot and ended cold, the skin on my hands turning red and tight. I carried basket after basket of laundry from the upper floors down to the wash rooms and back again, arms aching by the third trip. The omegas still whispered when they thought I was
