Chapter 20

The genie hovered above us, and we just waited to be killed. Some pirates dived into the water to save their asses.

"Should we jump too?" I asked my friends.

"I don't know," Bhaskar said. "Do you know how to swim?"

"No," I said, and looked at the faces of my friends. "Do any of you know how to swim?"

"I know," Bhaskar responded.

"Well, I know too," Govind said. "I used to go to fields to shit in the morning, and I used to dive into ponds after that."

He didn't need to give that much of vivid description. Anyway, so only two of us knew how to swim.

"What should we do now?" I asked.

"I don't know," Govind said.

The genie swung its arm, wiping out half of the pirates. We had to do something quickly or we would end up dead too.

"I think we should jump," Rahul suggested.

"Are you mad?" I reacted. "We don't even know how to swim."

"Then what choice we have?"

"I don't know."
