Reina's POV

“Reina, why are you really doing this?" Anna asked me, and for a second, I stopped arranging the clothes we had gotten earlier.

Why was I really doing this? When did I become this person who did not care for others? Did Ian deserve this torture I was putting him through?

“I need to do this," I replied, unable to come up with a better answer. If I told her the truth, she would offer to help, and Anna had helped me more than I could ever repay for the past years since my mother had passed. I could not continue relying on her for almost everything as my job did not help our needs as much.

“But why do you need to do this?" Anna asked again, her eyes filled with concern. I know her so much that I know she will not let this go.
