Chapter 9

Ian's POV

Nothing could be compared to how furious I was at that moment. Reina was stepping on my toes, real hard and if she had been a man, doing something else that equally made me this furious, I would have given her a hard blow right now.

I kept giving her looks that could be denoted as deadly, but she still didn’t stop acting all sweet and innocent. Her pretence was beginning to get on my nerves and it seemed as though my parents were already believing in all of her lies and worst of all, they seemed to like her.

“Okay, I think it’s time we go home. And Ian, since you are off work, why don’t we go home together? Get in my car.” My Dad said as he stood up.

"Oh no, Dad. I need more time with Reina. I need to speak with her about a few things, so you all can go home without me.” I said, trying my best to speak softly, so they wouldn’t figure out that something was wrong.

“Alright then.” My Dad said and walked out of the restaurant with my Mom following closely behind.
