I should be enjoying the rest of my day in freedom, not pouting in my room. Going outside or even taking a walk outside requires too much energy. Whatever I do, what's going on is still on my mind.

If I feel so heavy from resentment, how can I have fun?

I was merely wearing earphones and leaning on the headboard of the bed.

I would have stayed indoors if I could have. However, according to Daddy, people who have my gown will arrive to measure for me. They claimed to have purchased it ready-made and that if anything went wrong, they would just fix it.

Before, I was dreaming about wearing a beautiful white gown and walking down the aisle. But now, I'm hoping it won't happen—not like this.

I got up when I heard the knock outside my chamber. I proceed to the door to open it after setting my phone and earbuds on the bed.

The two gays, including mama who was looking serious, gave me a lovely smile.
