I asked with a slightly louder tone.

'So you deduced it to me huh? Why are you so smart but sometimes dumb? Yep. I helped you a bit. But it is just because you really are deserving.', Ellen replied nonchalantly.

'I am sorry Elle but let me ask further questions. This just puzzles me to the core.

How did you come to deem me as a deserving person when we did not even know each other on a personal level in the past?', I followed up.
