Chapter 002

"Come in," His voice was calm and tinder, opposite from his impassive dark brown eyes.

 

I gulp with his stares and slightly bow in front of him before going at the sit on the last row. It was a good thing that my friends took different courses from mine cause I'll surely headbutt any of them if I hear them laugh at my most embarrassing moment.

 

He cleared his throat and sat at the table in front, that's when I realized that he was wearing an eyeglasses. Dang! Why is this person so hot!? He's a walking seduction and everyone would be willing to be seduced. I surveyed his whole body, from his messy and slightly wet hair, some strands are even falling to his eyes, making him hotter. Down to his so fine face, his menacing eyes that can tempt anyone who dared to glance at it. His luscious and delectable lips, and his downright perfect jaw.

 

My eyes went lower to his semi-formal look, he was wearing a gray t-shirt inside and paired it with a dark blue suit. I can clearly see how buff his chest is, his edible abs that are wanting to be released. I stopped myself from further surveying but eyes were too stubborn, my gaze went lower to his thing in between his shaft, I swallowed the lump in my throat and slightly slapped myself to stop imagining things.

 

Gosh! What the heck, Hope Kamesh Davidson! maintain yourself or you'll be dead! I talked to myself and decided to listen to what was happening in front.

 

"Good morning, students. I'll be your substitute teacher for the semester. Mrs. Steel's husband sent me here." He started, he crossed his arms in front of his chest and scanned the whole classroom. I was about to avoid his glance but it was too late. His eyes bored into mine and all I could do was to manage the chaos beating of my heart. "Care to introduce yourself to me?" he asked but his eyes were still on mine.

 

I don't know if the other students can see it but his damn stares are making me nervous. I finally was able to breathe when his eyes left mine. He looked at the student in the first row and signalled him to start introducing.

 

I'm glad that I'm at the last row, I'll be one of the students who would have less of his attention–

 

"Kamesh." With furrowed brows I looked at my seatmate when she suddenly grabbed my skirt. She was giving me signals and I don't know what she meant by that. "It's your turn–"

 

"Are you still with us, Miss?" I was stilled in place and felt the hair on my nape rises when I heard his strict and firm voice. It took me seconds before I finally met his gaze. "Mind to introduce yourself?" he asked again. His dark brown eyes are drowning the shit out of me, so I have to fix myself.

 

I fake a cough to let him know that I'm not intimidated by his presence but I can feel my heart beating erratically. My eyes followed his every movement, from how he fixed his sleeves up to his elbow, to the small smirk that was playing on his reddish lips. I swallowed the lump in my throat and looked at him fiercely.

 

"My name is Hope Kamesh Davidson." I was thankful that it didn't come out trembling, I've never felt so nervous all my life. 

 

I saw him raise his brow, his still emotionless eyes were boring into me before he bit his lower lip. "That's all? Didn't you listen to me earlier?" he's mocking me. I knew. "I said introduce yourself, not state your name." My eyes were piercing at his, my jaw was tightening and I could feel my head heating. Know he was embarrassing me in front of the class. Huh, who the hell is he to do that to me.

 

I smiled sweetly at him, his reaction even made me feel happy, he wasn't expecting my sweet smile and now he was looking at me, waiting for my next action. "I'm twenty-two, fourth year college in architecture, and I like guys who keep on asking me questions." I winked at him and secretly licked my lower lip. I was enjoying his reaction.

 

He was clenching his jaw and he's emotionless eyes were now glowering with anger. I didn't pay him any reaction and didn't wait for his response. I went back to my seat and comfortably sat there while my other block mates continued introducing themselves. I secretly took a glance at him and I can say that even if he's looking at the students in front, his thoughts were never there. I wanted to assume that it was because of my answer so I let myself, I don't think anyone had ever died because of being assuming.

 

"Okay, since everyone already introduced themselves, let me have my turn, also." His voice was so manly, even if he doesn't look like the type of guy to teach young students, I must admit that he really looks hot, especially when he wore those specs. "My name is Klenz Watson, an engineer and will currently be your professor in math and physics." He started to walk and tapped every tables that he'll walk pass through. "I've been doing this for a lot of time and a lot of students are probably familiar with my presence." My breathing instantly hitched when he started to walk through my side. "And all of them know my rules. First, I don't tolerate immatures. Second, I don't flirt with my students. And third, I don't like it when my students talk back to me." he said all those things while his eyes were locked on mine.

 

my blood boils because of the realization. Is he pointing all those things to me!? In front of the whole class!? The side of his lips tugged upwards when he saw my reaction. He returned to his table and started the class, like he didn't embarrass me in front of the whole class.

 

"What a jerk." I murmured under my breath as my eyes were throwing daggers on his back. He was currently writing some things on the board before starting the whole period.

 

Everyone's attention was on him, I still can't believe that he would have the audacity to embarrass me in front of all these people but everything is fading away as I listen to all of his words. He's much more better than what I've expected. Not until he reminded us about the plates that Mrs. Steel asked us to do.

 

"I'll be collecting all your plates, minutes before our period ends. So make sure to ready it." He called up and continued explaining the topic.

 

Dang! I'm fucked up. 

 

After more than an hour discussion. "Okay, class. Now you may pass all your plates and dismiss yourself quietly." His voice roared inside the whole room. I closed my eyes tightly and didn't know what to do. I could've escape this thing if Mrs. Steel was still here, but that Klenz Watson? Damn, it would be impossible.

 

After a few more minutes and I'm the only one who's inside. I was still sitting on my sit when his sight landed on mine. I was biting my lower lip the whole as I avoid his stares. 

 

"Where's your plate?" he asked. Even if it was just ten in the morning, you won't see a lot of students walking pass through this room since this is at the last part. 

 

"Miss Davidson."
