Chapter 003

I faked a cough and tried to ease my nervousness before giving him my attention, "I.. ahm.. I actually.. I forgot about it." I lowered my head and close my eyes tightly when silence invaded the whole room. We were the only ones inside but I still feel suffocated because of the stares of the man in front of me.

 

"What do you mean you forgot about it?" My eyes quickly went back to him when I heard him asked. He was leaning against his table, both hands are inside his jeans pocket, making him hotter and dreadful.

 

I tried to calm myself when I felt like I'm losing some air. I glided my wet over lips while staring intently at him, I accidentally saw how his pointy throat waved at my sudden action. I let out a loud breath to ease the tension between us. "I forgot about it, sir. I think I enjoyed my vacation at the province that much and I forgot I have some things to do. It was the only time I can visit my family, sir." It was truth though, I really forgot about it because I was enjoying myself too much. Being with my family makes me forgot things easily, especially stress things.

 

His eyes never leaved mine, ransacking if I've been telling the truth or not. I took the privilege to survey his full look, he was still wearing his specs but what caught my attention is the small shade of tattoo peaking at the side of his chest. I bet that's a big one, covering his chest and back. Just a hunch. 

 

"Well then," My eyes went back to his when I heard him clearing his throat. "I want you in my office after lunch, immediately, Miss Davidson." he was emphasizing the words coming out from his mouth.

 

He didn't wait for my answer and made his way out of the classroom, leaving me behind. I held my chest and let out a very strong and heavy breath when I didn't see him. I even followed him outside and watched his back as he manly walked everyone's attention on the hallway.

 

I quickly took my backpack and went running on my next class, and for the second time, I was late again on the very first day of the semester.

 

"Where have you been, Miss Davidson?" My other professor asked me. I stood in front of the next class, but this was different. Unlike earlier, I didn't feel an ounce of nervousness even though everyone's eyes was on me. 

 

"I've ran into some errands, Mrs. Chanel, my apologies for being late." I held my laughter when I saw my friends at the very back, making faces. Our professor let me slip so I went at the very back where my friends left a chair for me. "What the heck!? I didn't know I'll see you here!" I half-whispered and half-shouted at them, making them giggle. 

 

"Yeah, as if we know that you'll be here either." We continued to talk with each other quietly and secretly as if there's no one teaching in front. We took the time to catch up with each other's vacation until the bell rings, we were lucky enough that our professor didn't give us some paperwork's or else we'll be dead. 

 

Altogether we went out of the room and made our way at the cafeteria. I just bought a burger and soda for lunch since I don't really eat that many. We walk towards the field and saw that almost everyone was on their own spots. We made a circle and started eating our lunches. Nothing much happened during lunch breaks, same as always, it's boring.

 

I finished my lunch and casually look at my watch only to see that it's already near my next schedule, then Klenz Watson came up to my mind and I was hurdled when I remembered that he wanted me in his office after lunch. My eyes widen and swiftly took my backpack on the ground, everyone was surprise with what I did but to hell with that, I need to go to Mr. Beasts office or I'll be more doomed. 

 

Yep! I already have a nickname for him, from now in I'll call him Beast like what he really is while I'm the Beauty, like a goddess beauty, no, more like an enchantress. 

 

I smiled at my own thought and discovered that I'm actually pretty good at giving some nickname–

 

"Miss Davidson–"

 

"Oh my, Mr. Beast!" I couldn't stopped myself from screaming when he suddenly appeared from nowhere. My eyes went even wider, the words just slipped through my mouth and I think it's too late to take it back. I was pouting the whole time and I can't seem to look at him in the eyes.

 

"Follow me." He commanded and I followed him behind. I looked like a good puppy following her owner's orders. "Get in." I looked up to him when he opened the door for me, he pointed the chair in fron of his table so I sat there and waited for his next step. "Since you didn't have any project, I'll give you a chance to do it in one week." 

 

My head finally snapped when I heard what he said. I was preventing myself from smiling but when I saw his serious face, my giddiness suddenly faded. "But I want to give you a punishment for being late." I grimaced with his words even though I always heard it a lot of times. My other professors are also giving me punishments together with my friends when we do something inhumane, according to them eve though we just put some bubble gums on our classmates chair. "Well, it's not actually a punishment since you will be a bug help to people." 

 

I prevented my brows from raising with the way he talked to me but it was unstoppable. The small smile in his lips caught my attention, it's seems like his enjoying my misery and it's pissing the hell out of me. 

 

"Can't you just say it straight to the point?" I made sure that he'll hear the sarcasm on my voice, but instead of being angry, it actually made his smiles wider and I don't know why I'm enjoying it. 

 

"Well, I just want you to clean the whole girls comfort room on your floor." 

 

My mind hadn't process what he said and when it was already clear to me, my mouth hang open and my eyes were piercing on him, as if he done something unforgivable, well he does. I didn't give him the chance to hear my pretty voice and just kept quiet while he's giving me the instructions. If only he's not that hot I swear I'll give him a headbutt. I was all ready to leave his office since he already told me everything, when I heard him said something that I don't know if he's sincere or just annoying me.

 

"Good luck, Kamesh."

"Okay class, dismiss." My last subject already ended but it's the opposite of what I want to happen. Ugh! I can't believe that there will come a time that I'll be hating that word.

 

I lazily fix my things up and waited for all of them to get out of the room. It was four noon and I'm not planning to do it until all of the students in this floor vanished. At exactly five fifteen, everyone on my floor seemed to have gone, I can still see some students but not that many. So I made my way at the girls comfort room, it's not that messy...

 

But I'm definitely not the type of person who would enjoy cleaning.
