Oppos Know The Address

CHAPTER SEVEN.

Coco was headed to her office. Driving in her white SUV. She drove silently. Could there be anything she can do to make Chief Onapuruagu forget about her father's money? The only bait was, assassinating him. And she wasn't sure, she wanted that. Part of her wanted him, in her life, and for long. Last night convinced her he wasn't a terrible human afterall, like the streets painted.

Coco checked her rear view and abruptly stopped driving when she sighted the POP Boyz driving towards her. She quickly made a U turn and took a short cut. The Pop Boyz chased after her, firing gun shots on her SUV.

"She moves city to city in bullet proof." One of the Pop Boyz said to his squad.

Coco Kaave parked at the high way and came down from her SUV. The Pop Boyz stopped driving and came down. All three pointing guns at Coco.

"Wadup?" Coco asked.

"We want back our train station." The Pop Boyz angrily fired.

"You'll regret choosing me as your enemy." Coco snapped.

"Hand over the documents. There are three guns to your fucking head."

Coco took a step closer to the Pop Boyz.

Three of Chief Kaave's body guards pointed their snipers, from ontop the highway, and aimed directly at the Pop Boyz. One. Two. Three. They released shots.

Dirty blood splashed all over Coco. Her eyes were bright with excitement. She squatted, and stared into their faces, as they struggled with life. One of the Pop Boyz tried to reach for his gun, Coco used her right foot to kick the gun afar. She looked at them long and hard.

"When next you come for me, bring a friend, or two." Coco said. She turned and drove off.

Chief Kaave had just finished having lunch. Now playing a game of chess with one of his boys, in prison. He flashed back to when Coco was fifteen...

"Why do I have to stay in school?" Coco began to question Chief Kaave tentatively.

"You have to, because, education is the key to success." Chief Kaave answered, his eyes on the TV.

"Obviously," She muttered. "You are not schooled. I'd rather not go back to school after the holiday." She said stubbornly.

"And what would you do all day?"

"Be with you, go around with you, learn about all your businesses."

That jolted him. His eyes swiveled right off the television set full power onto her. A fifteen year old kid, a girl. Was she kidding?

"Children are suppose to inherit family business. It's been the tradition of our forefathers since the time of dawn." Coco sharply said.

"You will finish college, then, go to business school before inheriting my empire. Are we clear?"

"On the condition you will teach me how to use a gun this holiday."

Chief Kaave looked into Coco's eyes for a moment, then diverted his eyes back to the television. He loved her guts. She was truly his son.

Back to reality. A hundred and one questions bombarded Chief Kaave as he played chess with his boys. He felt too drained and weak to do anything more than play chess, and try to figure out some plan of action. All that mattered to him was getting back his empire from his daughter. It didn't matter to him anymore who was going to get hurt in the process.

"Checkmate!" Chief Kaave excitedly screamed. No one could beat him at a game of chess. Only Coco could try as a matter of fact. Chief Kaave looked up to see Danda walk in. He signaled the other boys to leave the room. Donda greeted and sat opposite Chief Kaave.

Donda Dan, Chief Kaave's informant.

"The Pop Boyz attacked Coco earlier today." Donda began. "She illegally acquired their train station at Ekulu, with the help of Onapuruagu."

Chief Kaave felt sharp pain in his chest. "How is she now?" He finally managed to ask.

"She's fine. Nothing happened to her. The boys are always with her." Donda replied. He could see the worry written on Chief Kaave's face.

"Boss, Coco is doing a good job I must say. She's handling everything well. I don't think there's need for us to strike." Donda tried to convince Chief Kaave. "If we strike now, the streets of Dirty South will come for her. Everyone on the street is still loyal to her, because of you. They are under the impression you're in prison out of your own will, for vacation. If that narrative changes, I'm afraid, her safety won't be guaranteed."

Chief Kaave looked at his Chess board. "Send her a warning. I don't want her acquiring anything illegally again. The train station should be the last. Send a warning too, to Onapuruagu. Tell him to keep some amount of reasonable distance away from my daughter."

"Quit being boring. What's the harm in it?" Brandy desperately tried to convince Coco to agree with her. Coco was sitted in her office. Going through some files.

"Stop it. You're being a distraction right now." Coco said without looking up, at Brandy.

"Tomorrow night is the last costume party for the year at Golden Girl's. Let's go ma'am."

"I'm not goi..." Coco didn't finish the words. It was actually a good idea. "Fine. We'll go."

Brandy jumped up excitedly and hugged Coco. "I love you."

Coco ignored her. Love? Her father didn't raise her to believe in whatsoever love bull cramp. Jeremy walked into the office. "Donda wants to see you."

"Let him in." Coco said straightening up. "Brandy please give me a minute."

"Sure." Brandy said and left the office in a cat walk.

Jeremy left. Donda entered. He walked to Coco's desk and sat.

"I didn't ask you to sit." Coco thoroughly scanned his facial expression.

"My apologies." Donda replied.

"Do we have a problem?"

"Yes." Donda swallowed. "Your dad wants you to quit running illegal affairs in Dirty South. He.."

Coco didn't let him finish. "Fuck out of my office nigga."

"Well, on the other hand, I personally think you shouldn't. I mean, this is the life. This is the only way to remain in control of Dirty South." Donda poured out his honest opinion. "Your dad lived the life. It's your turn now."

"I see.." Coco stared at him carefully.

"I want to work for you Coco. I served your father for ten years and I've been loyal. I give you my word, I will be loyal. As long as you'll also be loyal. No games."

"I'm only loyal to the niggas that burst guns for me." Coco firmly said. "And, if you're indeed loyal, why switching on my dad? Please leave. We're done."

Donda left Coco's office.

Mrs. Kaave rolled onto her back and gazed up through the foliage.

Scalding tears washed her face as she thought of her husband and the grief of his absence. She sat up and glanced down at her chest, planning how to break free from Coco. How could her own daughter lock her in her room? What to do? She'd never felt so helpless in her life.

Everything was made available for her in her bedroom. But she couldn't leave.

Mrs. Kaave sat staring out the window, watching Coco smoke grass in the garden. She was depressed. She felt really trapped.

Mrs. Kaave remembered, the gun! The one Chief Kaave always kept in the wardrobe. For emergency. The gun was always there, loaded. Only her and Chief Kaave knew of the gun. She looked at Coco through the window one last time and suddenly felt confident.

***

Idly Brandy dipped her finger into her cup of vodka and twirled the ice cubes. "Why did you keep her locked in that room?" She asked Coco sitted next to her in the garden. She couldn't hide her curiosity.

"Until she signs the legal documentation that states she is not interested in, and she wishes not to be part of the empire anymore."

"Just send her to prison."

"She is my mother!"

"And Chief Kaave isn't your dad? Common."

"I didn't want him to end in prison."

"But he did anyway."

"Which I deeply regret."

"Won't change a thing hunie."

***

"Looking for something?" Coco asked as she stepped into the bedroom. Mrs. Kaave was running her fingers and hands in her wardrobe, searching and scattering.

Mrs. Kaave raised her head and answered. "No.."

"No?"

"No..no, I mean.. yes.." Mrs. Kaave struggled to answer. "One of my lipsticks."

"I see. So, have you changed your mind yet?"

"No. Please just let me go. I won't bother you." Mrs. Kaave pleaded.

"Your being part of the empire is bothering me. Well, I just came to check if perhaps you've changed your mind." Coco turned and left the bedroom.

Mrs. Kaave continued her search. There it was. She found the gun in the last layer of the wardrobe. She sank to her knees gratefully and used both hands to grab and admire the MICRO UZI.

Delma looked at her outfit significantly, and smiled. Her outfit for tonight's costume party at Golden Girl's club were red lingerie, the very latest from TRENDZ fashion. She was going dressed as a stripper. That was her ideal concept for her costume.

"I can't believe you're going." Inna said, still in doubt.

"Don't be jealous. One day, just one day, Chief Onapuruagu will be kind enough to invite you. But tonight? Hehehe! This is my night." Delma said as she wiggled. She was full of joy and excitement. Chief Onapuruagu had invited her to the Golden Girl's club. The biggest, most popular club house and casino in Dirty South.

"I'm happy for you. But, is that what you'll be wearing tonight?" Inna asked.

"Yes. Sexy right?"

"Sluty rather. You'll look cheap in those."

Delma frowned. "What do you know about fashion and parties?"

"I know you're doing all these to seduce Chief Onapuruagu." Inna snapped.

Delma laughed. "I'm not denying. And, he won't be able to resist this body tonight."

Shaking her head in disapproval, Inna kept repeating, "No. No. No."

"Yes. Yes. Yes." Delma insisted. "Now, it's time to get dressed. And seize the night."

***

Chief Onapuruagu was leaning on his Benz. Dlema walked towards his car. He opened his mouth to speak, closed it again, and paused to take a deep breath. Delma confidently cat walked in her heels and stood in front of him, in her red, tight lingerie. Her boobs screaming and begging to burst open. Her fat ass, bussin. She was very confident he was already tripping.

Delma smiled, and said, "I'm set sir, shall we?"

Chief Onapuruagu looked genuinely puzzled and surprised. He shook his head and muttered, "After you."

Delma was living her moment for life. She excitedly entered the car.

Tonight, Chief Onapuruagu costumed as 'Bride of Chucky'. He entered his Benz and drove.

Delma wondered if tonight might lead to something serious between her and her boss. She was afraid to ask. As they drove past Golden Girl's club, Delma nearly screamed. "Cheif we've drove past the club."

Chief Onapuruagu ignored Delma and parked in front of 'Gerrard's Apparel'. He came down from his car and walked inside the boutique. Delma was hesitant to follow, but quickly walked behind him when he turned to search for her. Delma was uncomfortable and ashamed as they walked inside the boutique. She decided not to focus on the condemning looks customers threw at her. Chief Onapuruagu walked straight to the female clothing collection and pointed at a female brown suit.

"This, change into it. Don't keep me waiting." Chief Onapuruagu turned and left.

At that moment, Delma wanted the grounds to open and swallow her. Although the smile on her face hid it. Everyone could see the shame in her eyes and body language. His words wounded her. It made her feel like a man hunter, or, worse yet, the foolish woman she had been..to think..to think Chief Onapuruagu would fall for her cheap tricks.
