•Juliet’s POV•

The sun was already shining brightly by the time I finished dressing Jace. I stared at him for a moment, admiring how cute he looked in his brown shorts and matching shirt. I reached over to grab my purse from his bed and he clung to my hand tightly. Without a word, we walked out of the room together and headed down the stairs.

"Mommy, are we going to see Mr. Edward?" Jace asked as we made our way to the car.

I glanced down at him with a soft smile. "Yes, my love."

His face lit up which made me smile, I buckled him into his seat and took a seat beside him, Eric close the door and took the driver side, pulling out of the parking space.

"Mommy, can we get ice cream? I promise to get one for Mr. Edward," Jace said, practically bouncing in his seat. His eyes shimmered with excitement.

I brushed my fingers gently through his thick, curly brown hair. "Okay, my love."
