Chapter 23

Kaiden sang along with the sound buzzing from his home theatre as he knotted his tie in front of the mirror, completely aware of what day it was. It was a Monday! A beautiful Monday morning.

The large bedroom was a little messy, but who cares? It'll be taken care of by the appropriate person.

He had been called upon by his chef, who alerted him to come down for breakfast, but that wasn't going to be necessary as he was running late for work already. Or, maybe he was just too excited to eat.

Kaiden always dreaded Mondays so much, but today was different. 'Who knows?' Perhaps he was expecting a promotion at work today if fate allowed it.

"A promotion..." He chuckled. He wondered what it'd feel like. It's something he'd never experienced before because, of course, he knew who he was.

Today held a lot of positive promises. There was going to be an interview today, carried out by the CEO himself - which was actually pretty strange.
