Chapter 1

The doorbell rang, interrupting all thoughts in Alina Rojas's mind. She hurriedly ran to open the door.

At the gate, a tall figure carrying a cold light was looking at her.

"You're back..."

Bucky Ethelred slowly walked in, his eyes indifferently glancing at Alina.

Alina carefully closed the door, quietly following behind him.

The two entered the house, and Bucky coldly said:

"Let's get a divorce."

His words made her tremble. Although this was something she had expected, when these words came out of his mouth, she still felt heartbroken.

"Bucky. I..."

"Tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock, I will ask Tony to pick you up to do the paperwork."

As he spoke, Bucky walked upstairs. Alina smiled bitterly. This man was always so cold to her. But she was like a moth flying into a flame, disregarding everything and rushing into him.

"You won't regret it, will you?"

Bucky's footsteps stopped, and a cold smile appeared on his lips.

"There is no word regret in Bucky Ethelred's dictionary. If you want any conditions, just tell Tony, I will fulfill them."

After saying that, he went straight upstairs, entered the room, and locked the door. Alina looked at his figure, and her heart ached.

Alina looked up at the ceiling, and two warm tears gently rolled down.

Alina had liked Bucky since she was a high school student. But she knew clearly that Bucky had no feelings for her. The person he liked was Mary.

Mary returned home, and Bucky picked her up at the airport. The two went to dinner at a high-class Japanese restaurant. Alina also happened to have dinner there, and in the next room. She heard Mary say.

One of them was Alina Rojas. Now, she has become a goddess loved by everyone, becoming more and more beautiful. In the past three years, Alina had studied business abroad. With the support of her family, she founded her own company, Circuit Group. Her company surpassed other companies and ranked number one, making some company directors angry because they did not know what kind of company Circuit Group was and how powerful it was.

Alina's identity was a secret, so no one knew who she was except those close to her.

Walking beside Alina was Caitlyn, her assistant.

"There will be a business party at Orchid Heaven Hotel tomorrow night, do you want to go?" Caitlyn said.

They also headed to the airport gate, where a taxi was waiting for them.

"Of course," Alina said indifferently.

"But you might see Bucky Ethelred again at that party."

She was no longer the foolish Alina from three years ago. Now, she would make those who trampled and looked down on her look up to her and see how wonderful she was.

The two girls got into the taxi, and the car sped away.

As soon as they sat down, Alina and Secretary Caitlyn heard the girl in front greet the person behind her: "General Manager Ethelred."

Alina turned her head unconsciously. The person walking over was indeed her ex-husband, Bucky Ethelred.

Her face was extremely radiant, her straight black hair had now turned into curly chestnut hair, falling to her shoulders. The secretary standing behind her also bowed down and greeted him.

Alina wore bright makeup today, thick eyeliner, and a light layer of earthy eyeshadow on her dreamy eyes.

She looked at him, smiled gently, her voice was extremely clear, her attitude was polite, as if they had never known each other.

It seemed that after the divorce, she lived very well.

Bucky's eyes darkened, and he glanced at Alina's outstretched hand, then sat down at the dining table without even looking at her.

The smile on Alina's face disappeared, she unconsciously took her hand back, and Brooklyn, standing next to her, changed the topic to change the atmosphere.

Alina's expression was extremely relaxed. She giggled when she heard Brooklyn speak, but her eyes did not look at Bucky even once.
