Christian was frozen in his place. He couldn't comprehend if it was a trick of his mind or reality. Kai was standing there looking as shocked as him. So Kai was still alive? His heart started thudding so hard when the hope of Ava being still alive entered his head.
Kai stood shocked there for a minute not knowing if to launch himself at Christian and throw punches at him repeatedly or to run fast away from there and hide Ava somewhere far far away from him.
