Brielle POV
I wondered how he was able to fall asleep some twenty-five minutes after I had just given him probably the best ride of his life. I could not sleep. I had several things running through my mind.
I wanted to pick up the phone and confront Enrique! Hermione, I could understand, might have just been a pretender, but Enrique was supposed to be Jace's brother and my friend, for goodness sake! Should there not be a sibling code or something that should have prevented all these from happening? I felt like I should ask Ona.
Time passed, and I remained awake, lost to how much time had gone by. I imagined what my wedding would be like tomorrow.
Earlier, I had asked Jace what kind of wedding we would be having, and he told me it would be a common-law marriage. I t
I'll be glad if I'm blessed with your gem
Brielle POVSex, sex was all I was thinking. I had not even bothered to ask Jace where we were flying to. I noticed two pilots in the cockpit, and it stunned me."Jace, why do we have two pilots on the jet?" I asked in a whisper as we went to take our seats."Are you kidding me?" his voice boomed, and I shushed him. I did not want to look dumb."You practically fly alone," I muttered. "That's why I'm asking."He ohed silently. "Yeah, okay, so here's the thing, there are single-pilot certified private jets, and there are not. Unfortunately, we are not in one of those jets. The Federal Aviation Administration has strict rules to protect the public. These rules dictate that in the majority of circumstances when a private jet is being rented out that two pilots are upfront.""But why?" I asked, curious to know more.
Brielle's POVWe had left Milan at about seven pm on a Friday, and after nine long hours airborne on a jet, we arrived in Beijing at about eleven pm on a Saturday. The city of Beijing was seven hours ahead of Milan from my time zone calculator app. Our jet landed at a private hangar, where we climbed down the airstairs.Jace told me to wait for him, and I did. In less than five minutes, he was back with one of the most insane black cars I had ever seen in my life. It looked like a racing car with the rooftop vanished."Get in," he said as the engines revved like a beast about to go on the rampage."Jace, is this thing even legal to drive on the streets?" I asked, getting into the car. The seats were black and yellow.
Brielle POVThe tour in and within the palace had been so exciting. We had just finished touring, and we were heading back to Tao's house to pick up the Aston Martin. With Jace and I seated in the backseat, we listened to Tao explains some laws in China.Jace prided himself to have known all these laws. He even made contributions, corrections, and arguments wherever applicable. He would argue that a specific law had been extinct or that the law did not make sense. He agreed with a few. As for me, my job was to listen."Hey Brielle, did you know that there is this rule in China that says one should not bind their daughter's feet?""What?" I asked, sounding surprised, then added, "but why would they have to make such a law in the first place?"&n
Jace's POVYou all must have heard it a million times, but it bears repeating: even the most essential relationships face challenges. There had been more than a single relationship crisis ever since the one we had on the event of our honeymoon. "Brielle, come on, where are you going?" I had asked her as she had stuffed her luggage with more clothes. We had been married for not longer than twenty-one days, and she had already packed her bags to leave."I just need a little break," she had said, and I had closed in on her. Her in-laws were getting on her last nerve… especially my mother and my sister Hermione. Oh, that final piece of trouble that I had not anticipated coming along, Jasira Beachwood!
DOMINANT & SUBMISSIVEBYEDNA BRUCE. A.K.A YOURSYCHODREAMSREMINDERSBefore you all start reading, please understand that this story is the first draft, and hasn't been edited, revised, or anything. And also, I'll be so happy if every one of you follows me here on goodnovel💋I really would be lying if I tell you about how I imagined this book in my head versus how it came out. Don't you all think?I immediately thought of making out this disclaimer because I see some stabbing comment coming in my backyard for this book in the future(good ones are included though)
Chapter 1: The customer serviceBrielle"Where the hell did I keep my charger?" I roam my eyes around, trying not to make contact with his eyes."Ms. Damara?" My name came out of his mouth as a reference of fright to me."You wail like the absolute businessman, and I must say," I pout as I continued cleaning the table and picking up the used coffee cups by outgoing customers."Indeed I'm, I must say!" He smiles, the type that didn't touch his eyes.I glanced at the next man sitting on the side of the table with his back faced in our direction, not being able to see his face, all I saw was his blue suit which seemed expensive, hoping to God that no one was listening to our conversation."Well, Sir!" I breathed out, looking exhausted at him. He furrows
Chapter 2: The RecurrenceBrielle"You what?" My best friend Hera yelled at the mentioning of Enrique De Leon's name."You, you had a long conversation with a De Leon?" She muttered in excitement. "Do you mean you had the chance to talk with a De Leon and not just a De Leon but Enrique De Leon!" She doubts with widening eyes."Do you even know who Enrique De Leon is?" She raised a question as I raised a confused brow at my best friend with my face not trying to know what's going on at the moment."Who the hell are the De Leon's? Are they popular? Working for the president?" I quizzed Hera with my hand finding a way to my crunch's snack."The De Leon's, The De Leons!" She kept repeating it over and over again."C'mon Hera, what the fuck is going on?" N
Chapter 3: The InaccessibleBrielle"Give me that phone."Hera grabs the handset from me tossing her silken Ginger red hair over her shoulder."Listen here Javier, if you want Brielle's workplace to be more opened to the world you'll do this pep talk for us to Mrs. Sicilio tomorrow, capiché? Make her agree." Hera can be ratchet at all times."Good. Brielle will call back and tell you when to meet up with Mrs. Sicilio, We'll see you tomorrow." She snaps my cell phone shut."Sorted. All we need to do now is decide where and when. Call him." She holds the phone out to me. My stomach twists."Call De Leon, now!" I scowl at her and reach into my mini purse for his business card. I took a deep steadying breath and with shaking fingers, I dial the number. He answers on the secon
