Jace's POV
You all must have heard it a million times, but it bears repeating: even the most essential relationships face challenges. There had been more than a single relationship crisis ever since the one we had on the event of our honeymoon.
"Brielle, come on, where are you going?" I had asked her as she had stuffed her luggage with more clothes. We had been married for not longer than twenty-one days, and she had already packed her bags to leave.
"I just need a little break," she had said, and I had closed in on her. Her in-laws were getting on her last nerve… especially my mother and my sister Hermione. Oh, that final piece of trouble that I had not anticipated coming along, Jasira Beachwood!
