43: The China Tour

Brielle's POV

We had left Milan at about seven pm on a Friday, and after nine long hours airborne on a jet, we arrived in Beijing at about eleven pm on a Saturday. The city of Beijing was seven hours ahead of Milan from my time zone calculator app. Our jet landed at a private hangar, where we climbed down the airstairs.

Jace told me to wait for him, and I did. In less than five minutes, he was back with one of the most insane black cars I had ever seen in my life. It looked like a racing car with the rooftop vanished.

"Get in," he said as the engines revved like a beast about to go on the rampage.

"Jace, is this thing even legal to drive on the streets?" I asked, getting into the car. The seats were black and yellow.
