~STELLA~ “If that's what he wants, then so be it.” I looked away from the mirror, avoiding my saggy eye bags. “What exactly does he want?” Valerie’s palm pressed against her forehead. “He wants what he'd always gotten from me. Submission.” I blinked, locking our eyes as she looked away from the wheel. “And he wants it now, even if it's going to get me dead.” I allowed silence to settle between us. Last night, Rhys had left my place after someone called to inform him that Dylan’s case had been corrupted and he'd bribed his way out. “They're doing this for the money he paid them.” Tears filled my eyes as I spoke. “But I'm really not going to turn back to him, Val. The moment we get back to that house, you're going to take the photos of him there while I pack up my remaining stuff.” We should have done this yesterday, but she and Desmond had left in haste. If we didn't meet Dylan there, our plans would still go the same. Dylan would suffer for everything he made me pass through, and when I meant ‘suffer’, I meant the kind of pain that'd make one's enemy pity them. I walked into the house with Valerie, opening the door locks. As I paced to the bedroom, he was seated there—waiting for me. Instead of any form of remorse on his face, his lips were tucked into one corner of his mouth. I played it cool like I was shocked to see him—as if Rhys hadn't told me he'd bribe his way out. “Wifey.” I turned to the right, just around my closet, and Taylor leaned against the closet, his hands crossed against his chest like a high school bully. “You're in no position to call me that,” I said to Taylor as I packed the necessary things I wanted. I could've gotten new ones, but my plans needed to be accomplished. “You're not shocked to see me, are you?” Dylan's tired voice sounded from behind me. “In your dreams. Why would I be so shocked when even your presence disgusts me so much?” Taylor scoffed. “Yet you called many times so he'd come back. We both know you'll do it again.” He was right, but I had reasons. “I called him because I was bored.” There was never ‘love’ between Dylan and me. All the times it hurt because he didn't come home, it was loneliness. “Someone finally has the nerves to look into my eyes and say something.” Dylan’s interruption irritated my guts. “I bet you've grown so much within just a month…” When I was done packing, I called Valerie in to assist me and that was where the plan went successfully. Of course, I couldn't walk into the den of the people who'd tried to murder me without having backup. We had Rhys and Desmond who promised to help us find justice. Desmond had promised to connect us with some of his clients, people who ran famous blog accounts and could make the truth loud…. Clearing every fake news my Father had put about me on the internet. All we needed was evidence, and the moment we got it, we headed out of the house to meet with Desmond. Valerie and I were meant to meet him in Wales. I drove there myself, following the address he’d sent to my phone. “Is he coming?” I looked outside through the windscreen as if Desmond would just appear before us. “No. His phone is switched off.” Panic shot through me as she answered. “What if something went wrong?” I asked her when the call dropped on the same automated voice. I needed everything to go smoothly. Every document, every piece of evidence, every detail had been checked and rechecked. We were parked by the kerb of the address, waiting. After three hours had passed, my phone buzzed with a text from Desmond: [Are you sure all the evidence is with you?] [Yes. Let’s get the work done.] I replied almost immediately. The sun was already sliding toward its set, and something just didn't feel right. “We should go,” Valerie said finally. “This isn’t right.” She insisted on driving, so we switched seats. She reversed out, pulling onto the road. We hadn’t driven five minutes when it happened. Three black vans appeared out of nowhere. One cut us off from the front, another halted right behind us and a third blocked the road to our right. We were completely boxed in. My breath stalled as I waited for what would happen next. The van doors slid open and men in black masks stepped out. They had no faces or hesitation. “Stella—” Valerie whispered. I tensed. Before we could lock the door, hands yanked my door open. Someone's hand wrapped around mine, dragging me out before I could even scream. “Hey! Don’t touch her!” Valerie shouted, scrambling out of her seat. Another man shoved her back hard. “Get in the car.” I kicked and fought, scraping my nails against fabric, but it didn't matter because they were stronger. A rough sack was forced over my head, and the world went dark instantly. My breathing turned wild, trapped inside the thick, suffocating cloth. “Valerie!” I screamed. I heard her cry my name, but I could do nothing. Just nothing. Then I heard another commanding her. “Drive.” “No!” she sobbed. “Please—she’s my—don't hurt her.” “Drive. Now.” He ordered her. The engine roared alive, my heart shattering at the sound. Hands pushed me forward into one of the vans, and my knees squeaked as I fell onto the metal. The door slammed shut and they made Valerie drive off. Even blindfolded and shaking, I knew the exact moment we were torn apart. The van lurched into motion beneath me, carrying me somewhere unknown, while the sound of Valerie’s vehicle disappeared into thin air. And for the first time since all of this began, fear didn’t whisper. It screamed. I couldn't do anything but let those tears burn down my cheeks. I didn't know who was behind this, but one name immediately surfaced in my mind. Taylor. Rhys had warned me about Taylor earlier today. Today wasn't the first time he told me to be careful—he'd warned me from the very moment I decided I wanted a divorce. Let Valerie be okay, dear God.if you've come this far, thank you so much. Chapter 60: The Attack~STELLA~I handled the decoration of the venue for this year's Black List Gala. As for the hall, I'd rented the most largest and exquisite halls in London. The building classic art of palseys carved into its walls and ceilings, portraying the old money that didn't need a voice to speak before it was heard. It took about a month, preparing and putting all of this in place. Gathering and arriving at the perfect decoration materials for a high-class event of billionaires was no easy task. Rhys had made sure my appointment as the main and sole planner was a success. Honestly, I couldn't refuse. It'd been my dream to design and plan at least, one Black List Gala event. I remember years ago, when I'd try to network with billionaires associated to the King, my Father's distant cousin but it was always a big fail. I failed because I literally couldn't kiss their asses. Here i was, in the large hall I'd designed and decorated to perfection. I looked around,
Chapter 59: “Too Selfish To Share" ~RHYS~ I leaned closer, dragging my tongue on her neck slowly. I loved the taste of her sweat and cologne. I loved how her nails bit into my back.“Please…” Her plea was weak and controlled. I slid my hand under the slit of her back gown, meeting her warm thigh. "You don't want to be fucked here, Blaze.” I whispered, pulling my hand back and I could hear her breath hitch. "Why? This is what they do here…” Her voice was calm and soft as she tried to explain,I could feel her body reacting to mine, in need.I paused, holding her shoulder steady. She drew back to look at me. Her eyes were pushing me too bad I was losing my self control. "You're different, Blaze." I shook my head. “I won't fuck you in a place filled with whores, stinking with cum and sweat" She blinked hard and I pulled her closer. Her head fell on my shoulder. My hard outline against her pussy, I could feel her wetness soaking the fabric of her gown. I would never let her want
Chapter 58: “Fuck Me Till I Beg You To Stop” ~RHYS~ “I'll note that. Don't forget our date by 9PM." I typed back, waiting for her response as the three dots were still floating on her end. “I never agreed to going a date with you, Rhys" Her message landed and it pulled a smile on my lips. I was carried, far away from the new-ammendments presentation going on. “I never asked you to agree. I said you're going with me, Blaze." Send. “The courier will be there shortly. I picked the dresses in a size 8, wear any" I dropped my phone, to applaud the presentation. I wasn't sure I'd heard more than five words the whole time. The presentation ended and as everyone walked out of the room, Lewis waited for me to head out but I was stuck to that damn chair. I opened my Finstagram account to check a few updates on the company's social media page but why the hell did I dismiss Lewis, the moment Stella's picture popped on my screen?? It was a post—a picture of her shopping. I already ha
Chapter 57: A Self-Earned Trophy~STELLA~My eyes drew open in his room, the scent of his signature cologne drawing into my nostrils with the fresh morning breeze. I yawned, leaning my back against the headboard as I sat up. Last night, we'd fucked in this room and as I squinted, my head replayed memories from last night. How I dug into his skin, begging him to fuck my cunt until I came shamelessly. How I begged him to make me feel his length inside me. This bed. That mirror. They all held memories I'd never forget. A mix of embarrassment and light ache rushed through me when I recalled how I cried his name loudly. I was wearing his shirt —he’d given me aftercare last night. “How about you move in with me?” His voice dismissed the fog of embarrassment in my head as he walked in with a tray in his hand. Chest bare. Built abs peeking beneath the apron tied around his neck and waist. My breath skipped for a second. “No, I'm fine in your guesthouse" I drew my gaze quickly before
Chapter 56: “He's Mine." ~STELLA~His hands curled around my waist, pulling me in a tight embrace and his lips grazed my ear as his hot breath worked its way to my system. “Blaze." He said calmly, as though he was reminding me what it meant. As if he was reminding me of the story behind the nickname. The hypnotic edge in his voice owned every inch of me, and I could feel my spine shiver to the roughness in his tone. “Remember when I started calling you Blaze?" That was a long time. I hated it at first but somehow, I became addicted. My lips wouldn't say a word. My jaw flexed as I leaned into him, letting his words tingle every pore on my skin. He'd given me that nickname after a night I broke down, swearing I'd set someone ablaze. That was the night I decided I no longer wanted the justice everyone knew. I wanted the one that'd satisfy every demon that had been created inside the deepest parts of my heart. He chuckled, as though he'd swallowed what he initially intended to s
Chapter 55: “You” STELLAShe scoffed, running her hand through her hair. “Look, Rebecca." My tone hushed. "It's not—” Explaining it wasn't the right thing to do. She was right. How could I expect her to believe me saying the man who'd just kissed me, was nothing? She paused, her eyes on me as she chewed the inside of her cheek. "What the hell is going on between you?” I didn't know. It was all fucking complex and tangled. I held back the little sound that almost escaped my lips. Until I was composed enough, I didn't say a word. "I don't know, Rebecca” It wasn't nervousness but, a strange feeling jolted through me. I'd never talked to anyone about Rhys and it couldn't get any stranger. “There's tension between us and… and I find myself thinking about him always.” I threw my hands in the air, like my guard was finally coming off. “But…” The words hooked in my throat—too heavy for me to
Chapter 4: Tears, Sex, Departure I'd slept in tears on my wedding night—because I realized how easy it was for him to say hurtful words to my face. It hurt more than it did when my parents had forced the wedding. It hurt me more that I was foolishly losing my guard—I was beginning to see him as s
Chapter 3: Successfully Trapped.STELLA Trevor Lindsey seemed gentlemanly and I was getting more familiar with this side of him. Two weeks wasn't enough especially when we were only meeting for dinner and going on arranged dates. I’d spent the past weeks on convincing myself that Trevor wasn’t t

Chapter 2: A Green Flag Or A Camouflage? She'd arrived at the family hospital and left there surprised, but it turned out to be all false. Her Father was not in danger.
