When Elsie arrived in the Woodley manor that evening she chose to compose herself before she walked in. Everyone was seated in the living room enjoying the evening snacks. Cups full of porridge and a large tray of cookies in the middle of the antique but lacquered coffee table. The kids were in the dining rooms with a maid watching over them.

Early the next morning Elsie was coming from the bathroom when he saw Lewis slowly sneak into their room. He was smelling like a brewery itself and his tie was missing and he was barefoot. Robert Keene was seated in his garden enjoying the view with a newspaper in his hands. A chocolate lacquered coffee stool with a glass full of wine and bottle of Hardy's under it. After five hours of deep unconscious sleep, Lewis came around feeling lighter than he had walked in that morning. He was also feeling so hungry thank God the maid who was entrusted with nursing him had prepared some fresh hot dogs and a glass of lemon juice, he gobbled up two hot dogs and then sipped the juice breathing heavily.Reality started to sink in. Lewis angrily kicked the door open, pushed her in the room and shut it with a bang. The Woodley family dinner was underway. Lewis was unusually quiet and that was because Elsie had not yet come downstairs. What Frank had taken as a moment of weakness, a kiss of confusion that only happened because she was sad was somehow taking a toll on him. It was another fine Monday morning at the Woodley manor. Everyone was awake and active the children were preparing for school and the adults for work. Despite the small altercation with Lewis the Weekend had been great and it was not going to affect the vigor with which they were going to approach their various duties. Feeling left out was Lewis because whilst everyone was busy getting ready for work he was still in his pajamas looking on, he also felt jealous but again he had no one to blame except himself...not exactly what he thought. That evening after work Elsie quickly went to check on George, she wanted permission to go run an errand, but we both know she wanted to go for that meeting with the blackmailer, sounds awkward and stupid but after thinking deliberately about the whole thing she decided to rise to the occasion and face her own demons, nothing was going to happen if she just sat there and expected her problems to disappear.
