Early the next morning Elsie was coming from the bathroom when he saw Lewis slowly sneak into their room. He was smelling like a brewery itself and his tie was missing and he was barefoot. When he saw her watching him leaning on the door jamb he froze and smiled broadly, a smile that faded when he realized she was not smiling.
"Hey am sorry" he said staggering towards her, she pinched her nose with her thumb and index finger.She didn't say anything to him instead she pointed to the shower and shut the door when he stumbled on the toilet seat to puke. After five hours of deep unconscious sleep, Lewis came around feeling lighter than he had walked in that morning. He was also feeling so hungry thank God the maid who was entrusted with nursing him had prepared some fresh hot dogs and a glass of lemon juice, he gobbled up two hot dogs and then sipped the juice breathing heavily.Reality started to sink in. Lewis angrily kicked the door open, pushed her in the room and shut it with a bang. The Woodley family dinner was underway. Lewis was unusually quiet and that was because Elsie had not yet come downstairs. What Frank had taken as a moment of weakness, a kiss of confusion that only happened because she was sad was somehow taking a toll on him. It was another fine Monday morning at the Woodley manor. Everyone was awake and active the children were preparing for school and the adults for work. Despite the small altercation with Lewis the Weekend had been great and it was not going to affect the vigor with which they were going to approach their various duties.
