Sofia's POV
Tragedy.
My first year in college, during summer break I lost my grandfather. It was one of the sadness days of my life but I got through it, I had my family, my friends, I had Jake.
He helped me through it, but who is going to help me with losing him.It happened 2 months ago but it feels like today. I still remember when I received the call, from Jake's mother telling me to meet them at the hospital."Sofia honey, meet us at the hospital." She said immediately I answered her call.

I'd tried to calm myself down on the walk over so that I could present all my points rationally to him, but instead, I'd just gotten more worked up. He is suddenly here after years of no contact and is acting like everything is okay.He sent me flowers today asking me to join him for breakfast tomorrow and yesterday he sent me chocolates and flowers and the day before that he just showed up at my house.I am extremely in a messed up place right, I don't need this, I don't need him here right now.Why was he doing this to me? Sofia's POVI was avoiding everyone, especially Noah. I haven't seen him since last night and honestly I wasn't planning on seeing him even though I do want to see him but I keep telling myself I don't.My only goal tonight was to get drunk and finally find my way home and pass out. Sofia's POVI wake up to the sound of my phone ringing, I look over to Noah's side and he's wide awake just watching me. Sofia's POVI wake up alone, Noah stayed over last night but he must have left before I woke up. I had just gotten out of the shower when I heard voices outside my bedroom door. Sofia's POVMy mom was so happy about my trip to New York that she got our 5th Avenue penthouse ready for my friends and me.I actually wanted us to stay at a hotel or something but she insisted. When my parents got back together and remarried, my mom moved back to L.A. I don't even know why we still own the penthouse, it's a 3 floor penthouse with about 7 rooms with an amazing view of the city.When we reached New York and went to the penthouse, she had staffs waiting to cater to our every need. I know she's trying so hard, and it's all because of me and my emotional state. Noah's POVWhen I'm done getting ready, I hear voices downstairs in the kitchen. Sofia laughing out loud with my brother Rafael."Hey." I say joining them."Hey you." My brother says.Sofia pours me a cup of coffee and passes it to me."Thank you." I say with a smile then I take a sip."So you're staying here?" My brother asks. "What about your apartment?" Sofia's POVIt's still dark when I walk up morning. I wake up disoriented until I feel Noah's arm around me and his warm naked body pressed up against my back. None of the anxiety that usually plagues me at night showed up while I was in my bed with him, allowing me to sleep better than I have in a long time.I try to ease my way out of his embrace to go grab a quick shower, but he tightens his hold on me."Not yet," he mutters in a gruff, sleepy voice.Coming down from a high, I need a hot shower. I say."Mind if I join you?""Of course not." I say.I look away from him in the shower, suddenly I feel so exposed.He turns to face me, and I'm caught off guard by the intense way he looks at me. His hands frame my face, forcing me to gaze up at him, not that it's a hardship. He's even more handsome in the morning, God I missed him so much.

Noah's POVArthur Connelly and I met in college first day and we became friends in an instant. I'm not a friends kind of guy, I only have few friends.
