When we entered, I could feel my body freezing. There were not many people, the media outside was growing crazy and probably more than the guests present here.

I walked down the Aisle as my soon to be husband was waiting for me at the altar, dressed in the perfect facade of beauty to hide his malevolence. My throat dried as Kenneth noticed my expression.

“Are you okay?” He asked softly.

“Yeah… Just nervous.” I mumbled, forcing out a smile.

“Why? You love him, don’t you?” He asked, arching a brow at me.

“Marriage is a different deal. Every girl is nervous before her marriage, new life, new place, it’s strange you know.” Especially when you know nothing about the other guy and were forced to do this. I dodged his question.

“I guess…” He trailed off.

“We will see at your marriage.” I chuckled dryly, earning a smirk from him paying heed to the altar again, slowly my steps even more.
